Hay Day Update: October 2019

STATUS: We are live! NOTE: The update is currently rolling out worldwide, so please be patient if you can't update yet!

It’s time for a new FARMtastic Hay Day update!

Super-duper Valley improvements!
• Get the Valley sun task info directly on your farm, town or fishing area by tapping the XP level
• No more lost sun points! Keep getting sun points even if the sun bar is full
• Now get an additional daily fuel spin using diamonds
• Tap the product icon within a request to see your inventory of that item
• Help others’ broken-down trucks automatically by driving past them
• Collect chickens automatically too!
• Improvements to the start and end of Valley seasons (clearer info when the next Valley will start, affordable rewards more visible, etc.)
• Stay tuned for a fresh new “watery” map on Valley Season 4
• A huge truckload of bug fixes that you notified us about, to considerably improve your Valley experience.

Additional features:
• Grow your farm with new expansion areas, some with new decorations too
• Sanctuary: We welcome the Zebras and their new unique decorations
• 3 new crops: Sesame, ginger and mushrooms
• 8 new products ranging from creamy mushroom soup, yummy sesame ice cream and all the way to refreshing apple ginger tea

Community Requested Features / Improvements:
• Land Expansion, Town buildings and Barn & Silo Upgrade materials can now be traded within neighborhood trading (limited amounts)
• Reroll Greg’s roadside shop using diamonds to get even better deals of the day
• When planting crops, you can now see how long they take to grow
• Purchased boosters are now marked so they can be easily identified
• We have sped up the truck, Tom, and the Postman, so they can reach you faster
• New decorations in the Derby rewards
• A boatload of additional bugs fixed
• Stay tuned for our spooky Halloween celebrations

-- Products: Mushroom Pasta unlock level: 101, Time 75min
-- Products: Mushroom Salad unlock level: 89, Time: 60min

Also, in order to better balance trading and to slow down bot activity, we have added a daily buying limit in the Roadside shop. This limit is only valid for expansion and upgrade materials, and it won’t affect your other items.
Once you have reached your daily buying limit of expansion and upgrade materials you will get a message from the game. Wait for 24 hours and you will be able to buy more materials in the Roadside shop.

No mention above of the feature many hay day you tubers described that limited purchase of expansion items to no more than 80 per day. Is this legit Nick or just something folks make up to worry everyone ?

I can confirm it is legit. No fake-news this time around. It's not mentioned in the marketing texts as it will affect such a small number of players anyway, and keep in mind that we can change the value at any point via a maintenance if needed.

Hello, can i ask why did you think it was necessary to have all the new land needing permits to expand it when

1. You guys do not even release permit events regularly so we can get enough to expand them.
2. The only place you can consistently get permits is via derby. So how is that fair for non derby players?

Greg's shop issue:
- first visit offers one set of items
- visit a neighbor shop then back, this second visit offers a dliffent set of item

Second set didn't change when visitnon 3rd or more visit. No diamond charged. Did not buy anything.

• Collect chickens automatically too! it’ll help when people that generally don’t bother to collect them are going past, but I think they're few & far inbetween.

• Sanctuary: We welcome the Zebras and their new unique decorations I’m sure they’ll be cute, but they need more space!
• 3 new crops: Sesame, ginger and mushrooms Disappointed you didn’t go for the mushroom being grown on logs or in a she, fields are already groaning with crops.
• 8 new products ranging from creamy mushroom soup, yummy sesame ice cream and all the way to refreshing apple ginger tea. Machines are already over worked, it’s hard to keep enough in stock. Would love to see ‘second line’ upgrade available or higher level players (so not a second machine, just a second row of goods being made at the same time)

Graphics are, as always, fabulous to all involved in those!

It'll be good to see the other little fixes as they’re sometimes a real QOL improvement, despite nit being headline grabbing

VALLEY TRUCKS: I’m not sure if making it so they auto fix is going to help much with the complaints I’ve seen about it
1. Too much fuel wasted getting to them
2. Not being able to see them
3. None being available when you have a quest

will there be a notification when your truck has been fixed, or do we still have to keep going back & forth to check?

i usually had to reshuffle my rewards 5-6 times just to get two permits each derby. They should come easily like other expansion items.
