I believe that you are correct. I am in the Eastern time zone and 12 am UTC is 8 PM here and the Pacific time zone where both of you are is 3 hours off from the Eastern time zone. This is of course going to change soon in early November when Daylight Savings Time ends. (in the US at least, I don't know about Canada.) After that 12 am UTC will be 7 PM Eastern.

I don’t think metal bars are included.

As I have told, I’m an admin in a Hay Day group in Facebook. Our group has almost 1000 members and very many of us are really active and we have helped other members by changing EMs between the members. These transactions have always been acceptable. I have added many of the Facebook group members to my Hay Day friends list and I have helped them many times by selling EMs. I have also been helped by them many times by getting EMs that I have needed.

Many of the group members have baby farms and we really need to trade between our main and baby farms. But this limit makes it impossible to play normally after buying 80 items from the baby farms or from our group members.

Everyone in Supercell should know how fed up and angry the most active players are after this update that prevents us from playing after getting helped.

Now the group members have started to ask HOW THE BOTS WORK. Does Supercell want this to happen? I suppose not. I don’t want them to start using the bots instead of being active in an acceptable way in the Facebook group.

So Supercell must remove all the limits when people sell EMs between friends who have been in the Hay Day friends list for a long time. And Supercell must also remove all the limits when old neighbours sell EMs between old neighbours (between the main and the baby farms). And both parties - the seller and the buyer have been in the same neighbourhood for a long time. These transactions happen between honest players and limiting these transactions has killed the motivation to play or at least to buy anything from Supercell.

I don’t want our group members to start using bots. I wish they keep on playing in an acceptable way but what can we do, when we lose our active members to the bots? Without this update no one would have even mentioned the bots but now many people are really intrested in the bots. And we all know where this leads to.

Let us trade without ANY limits between the old friends and old neighbours.

The team has already indicated that they will adjust the limit when and if they deem it necessary based on feedback and data.

there have been forumers here who are equally active who are not affect by the limits, those who farm different than you, not less than you.

maybe try taking on the challenge and finding new ways to trade? Trade just before the reset and trade again after the reset. It will be a long wait until the next reset, but you can try something as a workaround.

either way, any change will happen next major update, so I don’t think anytime soon.

I hope that none of your group members are tempted to use bots to gain an advantage over other players. Supercell has bot detection systems in place to catch and ban players who used or are using bots. Of course, you may choose not to believe me, but if you search the forums, you'll find posts from players who were banned for using bots and they came to the forums to apologize and beg Team Hay Day to return their farms to them. I don't know if Team Hay Day showed them mercy after they stole from Supercell and were caught.

If your group members value their farms and don't want to lose them, I suggest you urge them not to use bots or be prepare to pay a heavy price for breaking the Supercell TOS.

I don’t want the Facebook group members to buy from the bots. The group would lose active members. But people react in very different ways when they feel they have been betrayed and offended like many of us feel after this limitation.

I believe Supercell has bot detection systems but I don’t understand why they limit trading between old neighbours and old friends. If the players have been in the same neighbourhood or on the Hay Day friends list for a long time, the transactions between them happen manually and both players are real humans who play honestly. If their bot detection systems really work, they should easily notice and understand this.

The main problem seems to be the attitude of Supercell. We feel Supercell has betrayed and ignored us because they do nothing to solve this problem. Or probably they do something in future. People are angry and frustrated. People don’t want to wait and wait. Many players have stopped buying diamonds like I did and many players have stopped playing completely. Some people can be tempted to use bots. None of these ways is good for the players or Supercell.

people I trade with are all over the world. It’s not convenient to assume you can trade any time. It’s absolutely frustrating to cap EM like this. Having to wait for a timer so u can upgrade, days or hours is just ludicrous and unfriendly. You shouldn’t have to find a workaround - trading is plain trading and bots are already stealing items and the cap is affecting a huge volume of players.

Exactly! You trade honestly with your old friends but the limit makes it really hard for you and for your friends

This limitation limits only honest players. You need to buy EMs to your farm and you are limited to buy no more than 80 per day. I don’t know how the bots exactly work but I suppose one bot company can have hundreds, thousands or even more bots. So they can buy 80 EMs for each bot farm every day. Like 1000 x 80 per day = 80000. This is not right or fair. Supercell must let you and others trade between old friends and neighbours without any limits AND they must find another way to stop the bots.
