How to link clash of stats signature image?

I have been trying to link the clash of stats forum signature image for like half an hour now and the bulletin message keeps saying invalid file...

Does anyone know how to fix this?

    Your sig:

You have to use a third-party site to download images on the forum.

Here's the info on the site I use:

(These instructions are for posting a pic in a thread, but work for sigs as well)

    Go to:
    postimages.org
Choose Image (dble click on your image to upload)
Once it uploads, you'll see a msg to try to get you to create an account. If you don't want to, scroll down and you will see a bunch of links.
Choose Hotlinks to forums and copy the entire link.
Go to your forum post (or insert sig in your case) and paste the link. When you do, it will just show the link, but pic will be visible upon submission.
(you can also click the "Go Advanced" button on bottom right of the post prior to submission and choose "Preview Post" and you should see your actual picture in your post).
    Submit

There are many other sites as well, but I find this one quick and easy. Good luck!

Thanks man. It works when I paste the full image link on here, however it keeps saying "Invalid file" when I paste the link in the "Edit signature" tab at the settings menu

Nevermind it works now, I had to put in the direct link in stead of the hotlink for fora.

As you have it, it doesn’t work correctly:
do not paste the url in the text area of your signature (like you have done),
Instead, scroll down below he text area, into the signature picture area, and upload the url in the area pointed to below:

1- paste the url in the entry area, then 2- upload, then 3- ‘insert sig pic’ at top right of the signature area (the text area of your signature should show the codes: [sigpic][/sigpic])
