Is it the meta when the best players still attack with better success with other troops? It is the meta for a more average attacker like me right now, that much I agree with. Because it is an easier troop to use, it increases my 3 star rate, but at least in legends anyway the many of the most skilled players are still using other troop combinations to better success.

Give the royal ghost another month and I bet the leaderboards would be full of them.
The royal ghost strategies are just a few days old, and over time people will get even better with it.

At some point yesterday I counted 6 players with royal ghost based armies in the top 20 Global.
It's even worse in my local leaderboard, almost everyone is using royal ghosts there. The 3 stars in our most recent clanwar, where we as a Champ I Clan faced another Champ I Clan, where about 90% royal ghosts.

I understand that it's supposed to be a fun new troop for a short time, but it definitely ruined the last legend league days and Clanwars for me.

And no, playing myself with rgs won't change that. I just hate every imbalance that is in the game because it ruins the competition. And that was never as extreme as with the royal ghost.

Boring? Ghosts are super fun, first multiplayer attacks I have done in 8 weeks. Gave a reason to get some attacks in with something other then the same troops we have had for the last 3+ years, because that truly is boring.

Exactly. My whole point was that people can still use royal ghost in a composition and having it being very effective. Against a well designed base war base they would truely see the difference!

As time has gone on, I’ve noticed more bases appearing that are anti ghostbat. Wiz towers further in, infernos set to multi and spread out, th central etc etc. It’s reached the point where (at my skill level) I’m doing better with fewer ghosts, no bats and a stronger pekka bowler mix. Folks adapt, GhostBat is op, but it’s no guarantee of a triple, unless the base is weak to it.

Design a base to prevent mass RG, will open it up to other weaknesses for different army comps, not saying I am a great attacker, but would take you up on the offer to run at your war base with RG for fun, just to see how far I could get.

Obviously there would need to be some balancing if it stayed in the game permanently but the game needs a troop like this for a proper funnel with all the buildings to get through on the exterior of the base.
IMO and my clans we're loving them to funnel. But they shouldn't be able to be used in mass to 3 star.

Yes, why can’t they be permanent? That way I can continue to get a minimum of 85% on every attack in Legends. Lol. It’s going to be a sad day for me when this troop vanishes.
