Players can toggle on and off if they want to receive Clan invite requests from their own personal profile page.

If the players toggle off receive invite requests does this remove them from the search pool. Im not worried about recieving unwanted requests, Im worried about searchi through massess of players who have no interest at all in being recruited. If HOWEVER They are removed from the pool when turning off invites, Then its a step in the right direction for me at least.

The search tool does account for a lot of that information behind the scenes. The filters are just added functionality for you to reduce the clutter. It does take into account location, level, activity, etc.

As currently implemented, the Recruiting tool is all but useless. One can only search on 3 self identifying characteristics an d cannot even sort the results.

Here is an idea, how about making the tool useful to the PLAYERS?

It would be useful to be able to search on TH level, Hero Level, War Stars Earned, Whether currently in a clan or clanless, etc.

As it is now, the new tool is even more useless than Global Chat, and who thought that was even possible!?!

I feel like the default setting should have been 'Off.' That would have helped the search functionality work better from the get-go.

More Important is that toggling off Needs to remove them from search pool, I would like to see an opt out and opt in system. Opt in could be accomplished via the search tabs.

I'm optimistic... obviously very few have edited their settings yet... SC has access to much useful information that could easily be used to find a good fit...

Donation history, war performance, activity level, base and troop strength...

It occurs to me that SC would be in an excellent position to locate a needed member and match his suitability to your clan. Just gonna take a little time to perfect

The problem here is it's being "accounted for" behind the scenes with no control where it needs to be - on the recruiter. I have yet to see anyone in my search not already in a clan. Why isn't there a way to only show clanless? I am assuming there will be the eventuality that as more players go red you will only see players who are actively looking even though they are in a clan (this assumes people bother to actually set their flags properly) So I do plan on giving it some time. But honestly, unless this behind the scenes "accounting" is loosened up I struggle to believe this tool will ever be of much value.

Remove the 'accept invite even when in a clan' as it seems to litter the recruiting board.

I log off for a hour and the list of 5 people on the top list is still the same from an hour ago.
I just logged on again after a hour and the top 5 players are still the same, even scanning further down the list the names are relatively the same and majority are in clans.

That was not a coder's decision. That was a design decision.
