Counterarguement on DE on lightning storages

You could say the same about BAM and farmers. The more people that complain about this the more I want to boost my spell factory and lightning their DE. It's only considered noob tubing because high levels are affected, unlike when farming when it's mostly lower levels affected.

Hey , refresh your mind come back here...I had my TH outside at 2500 got attacked by lights and didn't even give me a shield , I don't mind if its a town hall 7 who does it , thats the only way for them to get the BK but not higher TH/s . BAM I respect if they get my de , cuz its an attack but not noob tubing and just leaving after dropping spells . Understand the meaning of it...BAM has nothing related to what I'm saying and showing

so if we are punishing high level players down in silver land then here is what you should do:

1. Lure the clan castle troops out and kill them
2. Lure the barb king out and kill him
3. Lure the archer queen out and kill her
4. Lightning the dark elixer storage
5. Surrender with out giving a shield

Advanced/optional tactic: try to move the cc troops over the de storage before lightening it/them at the same time

I dont think you know theres another meaning of "cheap", not refering to resource , lower TH at high levels deserve it ,after all the trouble they take to go up against lvl 5-6 troops and BKAQs

I used "cheap" as in cheap resource-wise and cowardly. And you can't swing around the argument that lower THs going for crystal and master "deserve" it, it's not like they do anything else than snipe and spend much time doing so.

88k elixir is cheap no matter what you're trying to say, and the fact that people who zap open up themselves to being revenged is moot. Half of the time they are too bad to do a real revenge attack, and the other half of the time they don't have nearly enough resources for it to be worth revenging them.

I do agree that high level farmers should stay out of silver land, but I thought most DE zapping occur in gold 2+?

I lightning for DE, and I don't feel guilty about it at all. As it currently stands, it is part of the game. Lightning and be lightning in return.

There are some common sense things you should remember.
1) If you currently have a lot of DE, do not lightning ppl. The revenge lightning will cause you to lose more DE than you originally gain. Only lightning bases you find on search when you are currently low are DE.

2) Revenge lightning is the best. Wait until they have stored enough DE to make it worth lightning. Don't waste your Lightning until you know you'll get at least 1k in return.


If SuperCell ends up removing lightning from the game, I wouldn't miss it much. But until they do, it's just another strategy to utilize.

And yes, when I move down in cups, I do get lightning more vs when my cup levels are high. But hey, I am down there for easy Gold and Elixir, so losing DE is something that is expected.

The problem with this flawed argument is that you assume everyone who got their DE thorred are lingering at silver league, and all the thors are TH7 or TH8.

I'm a TH9 at Crystal II, i get thorred by TH9s up here. Please tell me what you think.

Lightning ist a way for noobs, its the only way for people at th7-9 to get alot of DE fast.
I expiernced this myself as well. I really needed the king and was at th7, the only way to get it was by raiding.
And when i didnt use lightning i woud get about 50-300 DE per raid. That seems like alot at first, but i log of for 10 min and i already get attacked. Lost 400 DE, so without lighting you woud get with 4 raids 500 DE maybe, and than i lose 800 again. Thats why i took profit from the spell boost at halloween and got the king in 2 days. Instead of 4 weeks or more.
As you can see its the only way to get alot DE for lower TH. Its their own risk that th10 and 9 go to gold.

I don't use the tactic, as it's never really appealed. However, it is part of the game, so we just have to deal with it. Supercell have made changes to the zap spell and tweaked the DE storage hit points at the same time, they've also changed the loot system. The've had ample opportuity to remove the possibility, but they haven't done it, so I think it is staying.

It's part of the game and players are free to use it if they want to do. If you choose to use the tactic you run the very real risk of getting flattened on revenge. If you attack someone you run teh risk of getting zapped on revenge. It's just part of the game.

It is a bit of a cheap tactic, but I think we need to take a step back into the real world before throwing words round like cowardly. Please remember coc is just a game.

I do feel the need to own up to zapping someone's full elixir collector a few weeks ago after I'd used all my troops and I made a profit. I just did it for a laugh to see if I would make a profit, but obviously wouldn't use this as a tactic going forward.

I did it a lot, but i also emptied their CC and killed Heroes before quitting. Especially when revenging higher level farmers.
