I don't get this. By the sounds of it, th13 (or whatever we have for end of year) update is ready but you're holding off to satisfy a couple of clans rather than the tens of millions of other players. My clan has about 20 maxed out players, all of whom are slowly dying off as there's simply nothing to do. I've always held off the phrase 'the game is dying' but SC need to be held to account for this. I've ploughed money into the game, so I feel I'm entitled to my opinion.

When th12 was released we were promised more regular updates, by yourself Darian, but this last year, in mine and my clan mates opinion, has been the worst in the history of clash for updates. This 'update' offers nothing, zero, ziltch for me and half my clan.

Yes I know the end of year update is going to be great and huge and offer loads for end game, but you have sped the game up so fast now, that I'll probably max this next proper update in 6 months and have to wait another year for something else.

So disappointed, that the one game I've spent more time playing than any other, across any other platform is now just an app taking up space on my phone 

As we've also said in the past, not every update will be focused on all subsets of players. We try to target our updates for as wide of an audience as possible. However, the vast majority of the updates over the past year have been primarily focused on end game players. Clan War Leagues, TH12, new troop levels etc. were all aimed at end game players.

This update, as stated in the dev video, was to lay a lot of foundation behind the scenes for the update coming later this year. So yes, we already stated this was going to be an update that was "light on content" but there's a lot of stuff under the hood that was changed as well.

And no, the update slated for later this year is far from finished, which is why some pieces of the foundation need to be laid down first.

I'm sorry this update doesn't have anything you feel that is useful. But as we stated, we're not changing the metagame until after the World Finals.

Not every update will be focused on end game players. We've been very clear about that over the past couple years.

It's a shame that you can't recruit new people based on their language. We aren't an international clan and it'd be nice if we could recruit people who speak the same language. And sending some random ppl invites, only to kick them out later because of their language seems a bit rude

I appreciate the response and respect what you say, other than this.

I was never a pusher as clouds was too much for me, but OBS was a positive move and I made my way to legends and enjoyed a couple of months up there. Last time I checked I was around 4400 cups as I haven't properly attacked for a couple months now.

Clan War league was a good addition. Personally took me around 6 months to start enjoying but yes, good.

But what kind of upgradeable content have we had in the last year? We've had no new troops or spells since th12 and we've had, what, one new level for troops and defences since? I don't recall for sure but that kind of speaks for itself.

My main point is that I miss the game, I want to spend £5 a month to buy gold pass and get all the rewards, log on the game day 1 of clan games and max it ASAP, but I've literally got nothing, no reason to log on. Now I can't even go and chat to new players on global. I used to open the game as soon as I wake up in the morning, I barely log on once a day now.
