    To place ... or not to place ... that is the question

    I have just unlocked OTTO ... yay .... i think ... altho I cant see any use for it

    should i place the master builders hut in my war bases? I am almost max th12 (just walls to upgrade)

    Arguments

    FOR
    extra 250 hitpoints, so may make 3 stars less likely (5% of wars)

    but

    AGAINST
    very easy target so may give away extra % on 2 star attacks (95% of wars)

    Secondary questions
    does anyone remove builders huts from war bases?
    and do you think this improves % outcomes in 2 star defences?

    Both FOR and AGAINST argument hold insignificant difference. For me, place it because it means you can change and update your war base from time to time rather than having 3 war base that are not updated.

    Constantly update your war base to suit the meta is better than preventing 3 stars than a single OTTO hut.

    Yeah, I am with Merc on this one, not placing it doesn't really give you any benefit. Also I would argue that more buildings is always better, it's really just how you use them.

    I don't really follow not placing it. added hp anywhere is valuable as it takes time and troops to take it out. additionally every added building causes the opponent to have to destroy more buildings to get the same percent. i mean think about 10 vs 11 buildings. to get a 50% you only need 5 destroyed when there's 10. you need to destroy 6 when there's 11. it's not as big a benefit when there's 60 buildings but the same logic applies.

    if you're concerned about it being easily destroyed every attack put it in range of defenses so that at least you're getting extra tanking.

    yes extra hitpoints has to be beneficial in defence.

    i have placed hut, because i found i couldn't do offer challenges with it unplaced!

    I,m going to say yes it can improve defence by 1%. lol based on watching my defence replays from today.

    i had 1 49% 1 star defence today. The master builders hut probably stopped it being a 2 star 50% defence.
