Players who max town halls. A dying breed?

Masters..what is this..masters you speak of?

It's a magical land that I've heard about.

I hear you reach it after hours of tearing your hair out watching your minions run around the base after a baboon-like Burger King, only to be shot @ by flaming arrows from a L12 archer tower.

But once you reach it things that you never taught were possible - such as losing to a premature TH10 - happen.
It's almost magical.

I'm gonna max out TH8, and I'd say the majority of people will still try to max their TH level.

I didn't max my TH8, if you like to push occasionly the walls are not that important and the additions of aq, buildings, troop space, larger cc and extra storage and drills vastly outweighs the ability to attack th6 for loot imho

I wasn't maxing my th, but when I got to th7 about a month ago, with lv1&2 cannons and archer towers I decided I should, unfortunately this means I got a lot of catching up to do

yeah have fun to max th9, th7/8 was fun to max, but at th9...meh

I have maxed all of my defenses, on my way to TH9, which is where I am now.

I still have three barracks that need an upgrade (I don't use pekkas), a few dark barracks levels, and my drills.

I am currently working on skull walls. I decided at TH8, that maxing walls is not as important anymore, as most high level players have hogs, air troops, and jump spells anyway.

In the lab, I still need level 6 barbs, some spells, and dark troop upgrades for valks and beyond.

Although I will continue to upgrade my walls, I do not consider them essential at this point. I will max all buildings, and standard elixir troops and spells, but I will not be waiting for all of my dark troops or heroes before going to TH10.

I'm currently level 107 and TH9 its been a long long road to maxing it out, but i'm about 2 weeks away now

Based on what I have seen when looking for targets I think the opposite. I have seen plenty of th8's that look terrible for that level and good portion of those have even been doing th9 allready.
