You can't search by name...If he/she is in a clan, that's the best option you have. Search the clans. Good luck!Originally Posted by ender83

If you know there game centre ID you could add him/her then find what clan they're in.
You cant search for a player in the game though.

Game center is a must if you are playing with friends and you are not in the same clan. If you have each other on game center then you can't lose each other.
There is no facility in coc to look up a player unless without having to know the clan they are in.
Also, many people have the same username. I have two accounts named scrubFX :P
Use Kik or groupme to chat out-of-game if you are in different clans.

yes...get into the same trophy range as him/her, and keep hitting next, praying that they are not online or shielded.
It may take a while, but without being able to contact them outside of the game. The only other option is through their clan.
As others have said, if you know which clan they are in, you can search for a clan name...but the results may not be what you'd hope for.
