    Mid-Autumn Festival 2019

So I was shopping in Costco about six weeks ago and was surprised to see boxes of mooncakes for sale which signaled that the Mid-Autumn Festival was approaching. Since the date changes every year, I later verified that the MA Festival will take place on September 13th in 2019. I was SMH that Costco was selling moon cakes six weeks in advance of the MA Festival.

Anyhoo, since I also play Clash Royale, I notice that its shop is offering two Mid-Autumn Festival specials. I'm curious why Team CoC and Team Hay Day aren't doing something similar. Maybe there aren't many CoC and HD players in China, Taiwan, and Hong Kong so they ignored the holiday. I know cultural literacy isn't the issue at Supercell.

    What the hell?
The L bunny is elusive as the Scarlet Pimpernel.
Yet many farms heard recently the toll of the bell.
Thank you so much sweet Supercell.

What’s the mid autumn festival - never heard of it in the UK.

Looking forward to the Guy Fawkes event soon

While the Mid-autumn festival or the Moon festival (where people gather together and gift each other Moon cakes; the story behind this is rather interesting, I encourage you to search it up) is important here, it’s not as important as the Spring Festival (commonly known as The Chinese New Year).

There are many other festivals people celebrate here, QiXi festival (Chinese Valentine’s Day, the story behind it is really beautiful) for example or the Dragon-boat festival (when people eat ZhongZi, to honor a wise man who threw himself into a river because his advice was not heard), Tomb-sweeping festival (when people pay a visit to their ancestors, sometimes very high in hills, clean the tombs and then eat a little in front of the tomb to show that the late family members are still among us. They’ll also leave some food for them there) or the Lantern festival (where people make wishes)

If SC was to make a special thing for each festival in the world, we’d pretty much have something to celebrate every day (not that I’d mind though... )

You're welcome. Reading the Supercell forums has taught me about other cultures and raised my cultural awareness.

Man, this post made me miss Costco. We don't have big box warehouse stores in Finland.

Cats were left on earth by extraterrestrials, a cats DNA is totally different to ANY creature on earth! So I guess they are kind of Gods
