How do you guys feel about the change in spells to elixer?

I always have full elixir at th9, so I love it. Your problem is your spending over 70k on just giants. That's a waste of elixir.. cut down to 8 giants.

Your problem is that you are using giants,Now if you're pushing i can understand that,But if you are farming then you should use very little giants (usually only as a distraction to let archers do their job)Me personally i use Barch and ive always got more elixer than i need

After I get a builder available and get golems, I am actually contemplating leaving elixir storages outside due to the excess I always farm. I love it, it's far easier to get gold now, even though I rarely use spells, except when pushing, revenging, or trying new methods. If anyone really is having trouble getting elixir, I will be leaving my full storages out, feel free to take them 1200-1400 trophies.

Elixir for spells is great, and agree that they should change battle searching to elixir as well, or at least give the option to choose elixir or gold to search for a battle. It does make elixir a bit more of a commodity at early stages of a new TH level, but once you get established it is not much of an issue, and later on it helps tons when your elixir needs dry up and your gold needs continue in force.

Fantastic, I love this change.
I am able to use spells freely to help me get more gold in battle.
With the temporary boost I can have a spell every 10 minutes or so!
I am almost maxed out on elixir (3 more barracks upgrades, spells, dragons and PEKKAs) and I have maxed out my storages repeatedly- leading me to use all of my builders on barracks upgrades and DE drill upgrades. With the spells costing elixir!
So yeah, this helps me save lots o' gold

Changing spells to elixir was almost as good as making them completely free, lol

Before the change i think i used around 10 spells total in about 10 months of farming. Just couldn't justify in my head wasting valuable gold on unnecessary spells and I was constantly advising clan mates to avoid using spells as much as possible to maximize gold profits.

Now, as a TH9 with absolutely nothing left to spend elixir on, I can use spells however and whenever I want to, and no matter what I do my elixir storage's are always completely full at the end of every raid.

So yeah, definitely loving the change to spells costing elixir.

I use high cost armies and still have no issues with elixer. Will see next week when I go back to masters where more spells are needed.

if I ever want elixer I just swap to using hogs for a day and easily full the storages. I just started my archer L6 upgrade even though I never use them just so I wouldn't be wasting elixer with full storages.
