As we all know, loot is ever changing in this game. Sometimes days or weeks of poor loot are followed by days or weeks where every other base is an easy collector raid. A true competition will involve all clans participating over the same time span. Or an equal number of members competing from each clan over the four time periods. Otherwise its apples to oranges.

There will be an equal number of members from each group. Fifty names are submitted from each group.

As far as having all four clans go at the same time, the problem with that is that I'm a human being, and tracking 200 people on the same day twice is going to be incredibly tasking for me.

That, and I think it would be very difficult to find a specific week where all four clans weren't doing something, as finding a week just within a month time-frame was difficult.

I'd like to have everybody do it on the same week, but this isn't simply counting some trophies, this requires a great deal of effort from myself to put together, and it's much easier on me if I'm doing fifty at a time on eight different days, as opposed to two hundred at a time on two days.

I propose you keep the four time periods but track 15 players from each team the first two sessions and 10 players from each team the last session. Apples to apples. The problem with that proposal is that I wouldn't be able to track anybody from InTheDark until the 22nd, as they are going to be doing their own thing until then.

I'm not sure what other clans are doing until/after their specific time-slot, either. I understand that sometimes people can have "bad loot weeks", but there really isn't much I can realistically do to fix that.

Besides, this competition is only 20% gold, 20% dark. There's still 60% of the score that isn't really affected by a bad loot week.

What if each clan doesn't have an equal number of town hall levels in their clan? Last time I checked, InTheDark is almost exclusively TH10, and I believe Farming Kings is very close to that as well, although don't quote me on that. Do those clans now have to find TH8's to match with other clan's TH8's? What if the new TH8's they recruit are not loyal to the clan and leave half-way through? What if the leader has to remove somebody he wants in the competition because he has too many of a certain TH level?

I trust the leaders to pick whoever they want to pick, however they want to pick them.

I can't control how much it snows for everybody, or who it snows for the most, or any of that. Everybody has the same chance to have a bad week.
