Ideas for my base

Just some food for thought, but TTP bases are so common now, if I raid a TTP base I always attack it the same way (because they've become so common and cliche). Definitely focus upon maxing out you splash (mortars and wizards) defense, and make sure they make a tight triangular defense near the center, protecting your important resources - good job maxing out your previous TH7.

Mortors are the best upgrade at th8. One shotting lvl 5 archers is huge so make them your first priority. Wiz towers after mortors. Also, do not neglect your teslas. Lvl 6 teslas are devastating so make sure you always have at least one builder on teslas. As far as what base to use, I've tried a ton of designs (including your current TTP design) and so far this one has worked best. However, it does require higher lvl teslas so I'd wait until you get at least 2 of your teslas to lvl 5 before you start using it.

How well does this base work? Just wondering because I'm almost maxed TH 7 and I'm starting to think about TH 8 designs.

I would change your design in general. The tesla theme park is way predictable now and people just drop one giant to take out the spring traps and then they are free to attack. Maybe something similar but less predictable?
