How I currently feel about the game

Ok I love Clash of Clans, been playing it for over a year commanding my clan and expanding my village throughout he month.

But as of now I will say that I am a bit bored of the game, and the fact now is that it has lost its fun.

What I hate the most though is that the game has Sooooo much potential, yet after a year the company dismisses things that will improve gameplay soo much better.

Im not saying the base of the game is bad, the whole idea is Amazing, (props for supercell), but all I have been doing since I started was Cooking, raiding, cooking, raiding, upgrade defense etc. And repeat.

For a whole year, every day that is exactly what ive been doing. The only thing besides that is clan management, but theres almost little u can do with that to. Since the beginning of the game they barely added anything to improve the Clan aspect of the game. The only thing I liked was the Replays (the only good thing done)

There is so much u can do to the Clan aspect of the game, as well as add other concepts that can keep a gamer busy. Not the repetitive raidings that we do so often.

Updates seem to not help anymore to the average player, since it only adds new defenses, etc. Not saying its a bad thing but..well alot more can be done.

Im not saying supercell doesnt give stuff we want, I know they added builder editing mode and what not. But I think they can add more.

I just wish the game can become something more then it is. Simple things can be added like Co-leader, or other clan things like clan badges can be added that make the game funner.

It isnt just Clan Wars or Clan Alliances that will improve the game. (well I guess its the best possible thing but anyways)

Plz plz just have an update that can add all the simple things people have been asking for ALL year.

Well... Supercell DOES listen to us, but they are making small updates now. They do a lot of ideas of their own instead of community's though. Nothing harsh here guys.

Yeah i totally agree with you bro,Ive only played for 5 months so i can guess at the boredom ur feeling after a year.Now i absolutely LOVE this game!But id also like to see some new things added into it to keep the interest up across the board at all TH levels..Im a massive fan of masterminds daily quests,He hit the nail on the head wit that idea,But also would like to see anything at all just to keep our minds busy and interest levels up

Yea I agree, they've added concepts to the game that are interesting and fun, but not game changing or anything. If we did make a radical change (clan wars for example) not everyone would be happy with it, so i guess (hope) they're just testing the waters

Not so much gone downhill as flatlined. The game hasn't gotten worse, it's stagnated. All games do.

I completely agree with your original post.

Personally, as a hardcore farmer, I shouldn't care about anything else except farming up my walls, because new updates would just take out more of my farming time. But at the same time, I understand that it is detrimental for a game if all there is to do is farm. The social aspect of the game is extremely important, and if I see less and less people around me playing the game, I would quit sooner.

I also thoroughly agree that a lot of great suggestions have been way too long due, and I am losing my confidence in SuperCell's ability to determine which are the great ideas and their ability to implement many of these simple, yet much needed changes.

Instead, they've gone and made the loot worst(My Opinion), when it was already getting bad with the post-maintenance inactive pushes.

Just look at who's on the top grossing now in the google playstore.
