it took over one year (after the first fail of rule of 5) to implement a new ai. this was particulary reverted due to some bugs and took months to fix it.

Isn’t simplicity one of their design values? Requiring you to dig the forums to learn the rule of 3 goes in the opposite direction...

About your second point, they were probably not working on this alone, that’s why it took so much time. This problem is easily reproducible, and a few tweaks wouldn’t take too much time to implement. Nevertheless, I don’t think it’s a priority for them, even though I think it’s the most important thing to work on BB.

My personal favorite is when the bm chases after the guard post troops instead of taking out the builder hall that you sent in in for
