    Burning through gems like crazy!

Before the 1-gem boosts, I had 400+ gems that I was saving up for my 5th builder. Now I'm at 29 and I'm starting to think I'll never save up for that last one.

And you know what? I'm loving it!!!

Tons of gold to be found everywhere and full armies take only minutes! Thanks Supercell, you guys rock!!!

I'm serious, that's what it says: A horrible person.
We weren't even testing for that."

    Something has to change.

Either the boosts stay, the gold and elixir drills make more per hour, armies take less time to make (wizards, balloons, dragons, healers), boosts for heroes, quicker upgrades, cost for upgrades is less.

One or two of the things above would make the game flow better. 5 million upgrades I find are ridiculous for the average player. I don't think the average player plays Clash of Clans in the shower, 24/7 literally. I can't even imagine saving up 5 million gold for something, it's crazy! The average player probably attacks 3-5 times a day, 200k of each per attack. That could be 700k a day or so, but you of course lose loot everyday. Let's just say 500k a day, which for me is very high, that could be 10 days minimum to save up. For me, it'd take even longer.. near impossible.

To me, the game just has a bit of an issue for average players who don't play 24/7 and spend no money. Of course it's easy if you spend hundreds of dollars... but not everyone wants to and can afford to.

Yea, for some reason even if I only have the barracks boosted, the game seems to play better, like the way it should. Maybe it's just something that you enjoy while it lasts though, I really can't imagine what permanent boosted barracks would do to the in-game economy and playing style....

All in all maybe it just seems more enjoyable with boost, although I do play a lot more with bonuses like 1-gems.
It just feels wrong if 1-gem boosts/decreased train time stay forever.

And it looks like my th 10 will finish on January 9th, right after the boost ends and possibly an update/maintenance break to disable x mas theme, trees, and boosts. Bad timing?

Mate I think what you have said there is not right. You are saying that the average player attacks 3-5 times a day and gets 200k of each per attack. I beg to differ. I think that the average player, that is to say, someone who actually plays the game and doesn't just gem or rush TH then leave etc, would easily raid 8 times a day while farming. Normally i guess I would attack at least 12 times per day while farming. I would also say that for an experienced/skillful farmer that average loot would be a bit higher considering that now up to 400k loot is available just from storages!

I think the average player that likes the game would be able to make at least 1.5mil+ per day. Me personally, if i'm farming gold, probably 2.5mil+ per day, or more if i am boosting or if it is a really good day. The 5mil upgrades aren't hard to earn, but like you said hard to save up for because you have to protect the loot. Also if you are losing 200k loot per day you must have a very bad base because even as a TH 7 my base holds up well and i never lose that much per day. And why do you say you have to spend hundreds of dollars to upgrade things? You Just need a good base design and maybe raid a little more. By the way what TH are you and what sort of position are you in (e.g. Almost maxed, just starting)?

I have a good base design, but I'm a rushed TH 9 which sucks - I really regret upgrading TH so early.

The thing is, some people actually have lives and don't have the time to raid 10 times a day. Also, for me to win, I NEED my barb king, which takes an hour to heal. So, I could technically raid 12 times a day if I raided every hour, which would never happen.

I love the game, but just don't have the time to play to be able to get 1.5 mill - 2.5 mill a day.

I see what you're saying though, but I still believe I'm partially correct, at least in my view and for players like me: Lovers of the game, enjoys playing, but has a life and not enough time to raid 12 times a day.

You may be right about amount of attacks an average player has a day, but we just have different views on the average player, haha.

I'm longing for when the boost ends. It has been a great time, I've farmed over 100million gold on 5 days and now sitting with 500+ wins. Attacking this much is not natural and I think many people will burn out if this boost continues, just my guess though.
