Idea for Clan games: silver, gold and platinum pass.

We have the Silver and gold season passes. What about a Silver, gold and platinum pass for clan games?

Rewards system:
With a Silver pass, you just get the normal rewards you always get. When you buy the gold pass (payment will be explained later⬇️), you get double and better rewards.
For example:
Last row contains 2x DE rune, 2x book of everything, 5M gold/elixer, 15k DE,...

When buying the Platinum pass, you get the gold pass rewards AND some special things for you clan.
For example:
- double clan perks stats (temporarily)
- special clan badges designs (temp.)
- clan name in different colors (temp.)
- golden or diamond CC skin (temp.)
- 1 gem donation for everyone (temp.)
- ...

The payment:
The Silver pass is free. The gold pass costs 5,000 gems in total. The members can discuss who will Pay how much. The platinum pass costs 100$ in total. Members can discuss who will pay how much.

If this would get as successful as the season pass, SC could gain lots of money with this.

I know that this system is not very stable. But you can help me improving the idea👍.

I say leave Clan Games/Season Challenge as is.

I have to agree I don't think the Clan Games rewards need more added to them. Also, the payment via the entire clan option would be highly open to abuse and theft.

P. S. You wouldn't be able to accept more than your Magic Item storage can hold so 2x Dark Elixir Rune would be useless.

Abuse.

I start 10, or less mini's per season and use their gems to buy the Gold Pass for the whole clan. Once you've purchased it you throw them away and make 10 more for the next Clan Games. Thus, the entire clan gets the Gold tier rewards for free.

Theft.

Create one account, use a stolen credit card and purchase the Platinum tier for the whole clan. Sure that accounts almost certainly going to get banned, but the whole clan is still going to get the rewards. At this point do you automatically ban or pu ish the entire clan? How do you even know who all was actually responsible? This is the same reason you can't buy Season Passes or other things for people; even as gifts.

These are just the easiest ways to abuse this system and I haven't even given it much thought.

This would be a huge disadvantage to small clans that don't max games every season, but maybe hit 30K points to earn all but the last tier.

I lead a clan. There are roughly 40 accounts in the clan. Of those 40, about 10 of them are th5 and under (not eligible for games).10 of those th6+ accounts are mine. So I already am legitimately responsible for putting up 1/3 of the 50K (about 17K). This past games, due to summer inactivity, I put up 40K (all 10 accounts maxed, thank God it was the easy games).

Now, let's translate that to money. Of the $100, I put up $34. Everyone else chips in their "fair share" except Bob. Bob promises he will before Games end (Payday is Tuesday, guys. I'll have it. Promise). So we collect $95 and Bob does a 50 point challenge and bolts. Okay.

By the way, is payment due before Games start or (like Gold Pass) any time before they end???

Now, am I on the hook for another $5 as leader to get my clan the goods they need to keep pace with other high-paying clans? Of course, if I do, Bob gets all those rewards, too.

You have read all the threads about how "unfair" it is that people who do the least get the same as those who max, right?

So now you want to compound those complaints with a monitary aspect?

You essentially would create a dual class system of clans: Pay Clans and Free Clans.

Now, there would have to be a holding account as all these microtransactions are paid until the $100 is accumulated. Well, that's too clunky especially if the clan doesn't come up with $100 by the due date and you have to refund money (since kids will be using gift cards, not debit/credit cards you can put hold payments on).

Or the leader pays the $100 and to be in the clan you have to send him a $5 gift card every month. Oh, I can see no way to abuse that. Can you?

Naturally, I wind up (as leader) paying $100 a month for all the grandest rewards and booting the freeloaders. Meaning, I wind up in a clan all by myself. Good thing I have 20+ accounts.

The social aspect of a one-man-clan stinks tho....
