Omnium - Discussion and progression

Just a quick update for those interested.
I've PM'd Beechy a couple of times and am reassured that he has sent a text to Harry Senior. I will keep pressing him to ask Harry to relinquish the leadership of the feeder clan.
Suggest that the leadership transfers to one of the co-leaders of the main clan and remains therewith for the time being. Happy to discuss as always.

I agree co-leaders to take a lead of Omnium2. I also propose rotation on that position to be on monthly bases(2 season). Co-leaders should be accompany with one elder who would take position of co-leader of Omnium2.
Since BG was there last season and dk gave me the chance to choose...i could go to Omnium2 before Geko's come back.

P.S. dk has great proposal on our goals during that period of 2 seasons....simple...bring at least 2 members to Omnium.

After reading Geko and Nem's recent posts about Omnium 2, I would like to say that i agree with them.

But the one question i do have is for Nem. Are you saying hat one co leader and one elder go from Omnium to Omnium 2, or 2 co leaders? I think that only one co leader and elder should go because we need to still keep our core strength in Omnium. that is all.

We need to discuss and decide.

Having been there for a short period, I can report the following:

1. When I joined it was pretty inactive. Now much more active, but still a way to go to catch Omnium.
2. We are terrible at War. We've only won 6 and had a losing streak of about 9!
3. There is no promotion to the main clan - people are just not seeing it as a stepping stone to get to the main clan.
4. It's diluting our Leaders / Co-leaders - now spread over two clans.

My ideas for what we can do going forward:
a) Scrap it completely (kick everyone out and close it down).
b) pause it (kick everyone out but keep the clan open with someone's second profile (e.g. dylan) so that when the main clan becomes more desirable we can open it as a proper feeder).
c) keep it going as is
d) keep it going but get way more tougher on getting rid of people who are inactive (e.g. kick people who don't join a league in the first week of the two week league season)
e) force promotion to Omnium and combine this with c) or d)


I'm sure there are more we could do....just getting the discussion started.
