Best army for “everything in one corner” TH12 bases?
A lot of pushing and war bases now feature a town hall tucked in a corner with most of the high-power defenses, heroes, traps, and clan castle jammed in around it. the rest of the base is spread out, with wizard towers and at least one multi tower elsewhere to prevent easy bat clean-ups of course. The idea is to hold people to less than 50% if they start near the town hall, but make it hard to get there and survive the defenses if starting elsewhere. By placing everything at the edge of the map, there is little time or room to deploy a multi-troop army. What’s the best comp / strategy for this type of base?
If I'm picturing the same kind of base, one good technique is to use relatively low forces to clear out the weak back half of the base. I think I saw a video recently where someone used a couple edrags to take out much of the back plus the eagle.
In general, freeze helps; for ground spam attacks ice golems are nice because they freeze defenses "automatically" without requiring you to take action. I have had a few surprising 3 stars with a 4 ice golem, 10 witch, 15 bowler army, pretty much just spammed at the heaviest defenses in front of the TH.
