I will try to help but I'm not a TH 10.
My thoughts on countering each strategy:
BAM/Barch I would have a single air bomb near the storages that are closer outside than inside to protect from minions. However, not to have the air bombs easily wasted.
Hogs: Clever spring traps and giant bombs. The only problem with giant bombs is that you have to upgrade them enough to kill the hogs which means you have to pay a decent chunk of gold for the re arm cost. The good thing is that not everyone uses hogs, especially when farming, so I don't think it's a big problem.
Ballonions: Air Defenses, wizard towers and x bows are the most important. X Bows: should always be pointed up. Wizard Towers: covering each storage. (Meaning, all storages should have a WT covering it, unless its the DE storage which should be centralized, IMO). Air Defenses: 1 or 2 should be centralized along with the pointing up x bows. The next two should be in the next layer.
GoWiPe: Just make sure teslas are well placed.

    I hope this helps!

You can always go on a base builder site to build the base like I did.

Been looking forward to this thread

Here are 3 designs that I'd like to share. Keep in mind that Elixir hasnt been a concern of mine for a long time, except for maybe a small duration at the beginning of TH10, but even then Gold always took precedence. So, you'll notice that in all of these designs Elixir is minimally protected.

    1. Th10 Style Core with separated storages. I used this base for a few weeks between 1600-2000 trophies, no one got my DE, but one attack of loons, drags and mins managed to get two storages, the second of which was just down right lucky with an AQ just out of range of my defences:

I like the look hehe and it's great against wall-breakers. But, once you get to TH10 defences you might as well risk a vault, ey?

    ---

    2. Vault design completely inspired by the work of OJM and Cakework, and if there were others involved my apologies.

This is an awesome layout, I've used it for 2 weeks now between 1800 and 2600, and so far no one has taken a storage. No one! On top of that, I used this layout for 10 days while both of my Infernos were upgrading. Here's an interesting cluster of attacks with both IT's down:

With IT's up and running this base is a beast. I'd definitely recommend it.

    ---

    3. More Centralized IT's - Larger Vault.

Similar style but quite different. I designed this today, just before I saw this thread, so I don't know how it will hold up, but I imagine it will do pretty well. We shall see. If you'd like attack logs let me know.

So, what do you all think?

Shadowghost: Better, but always a concern of mine to have 2 gold storages so close together unless they are in a vault.
    Krak:
    All wonderful bases.
If you do not have time to read then stop there
Base 1: Looks fantastic. I think that even a well executed attack with farming troops would only get one gold and one lix, maybe two gold if high heroes. Honestly I cannot say anything to the bad side, I would run away with fear if I saw it
Base 2: Wonderful adaptation of cakework and OJM's base! I am worried about hogs from west, not many traps to stop it and the hog pathing is good. However, I think hoggers can find easier bases to attack anyway.
Base 3: This is my favorite. Achieves the same good base with better AI pathing and trap placement. Fantastic!
Overall great bases! I am gonna save this link for when I get to TH10 in a year or so

To protect all equally, you risk all equally. The only way to keep 8 or 9 containers behind 3 layers of walls would be to put them all in the middle without any defence buildings. 8 containers+CC/De in the middle, as in "please lightning me"-core

Exposing half of the containers bit more will provide extra layer of protection to the other half.

@Krak: All the designs will work well, but "hogsafe" they aren't by design, any of them. Course for a Th10, maxed defences and discofernos makes it hogsafe I used a variation of the #2 for quite a while and lost one elixir container the whole time. But anyway, kudos for the designs

    ---

I guess there lies one of the issues with TH10 base designs: when having well upgraded defences, almost any layout will work. While a premmie Th10 can't repel the attacks by far as well. In any case, one has to decide to either give 1/4-1/2 "easily" (divided) or risk "all or nothing" (vault). Though many vault designs will still limit the damage, even when core breached, to 1/4-1/2.

Yes, I have to agree on this one. But to me, 1/4 loss isn't really too bad. That means loosing 100k of resources, I'd rather risk that than everything. And even that 1/4 loss can be prevented, if the attackers aren't very experienced. And I'm still a very early TH10, so I'm not sure my defenses can already handle a vault. I get my second IT today, so I'll post the reworked base I posted earlier, to see what you guys think

I think the key is losing 1/4 instead of 1/2. This depends on def level but I would also like to see really separated storages to prevent half of resources lost.

Okay, I revised the previous layout a little. Spread out the ADs a bit more, so they cover more of the base. I also moved the teslas a bit, to make them more symetrical and left a bit more space around it for traps, which I'm still not sure where to place, for them to be as effective as possible. Anyway, here's the screenshot, tell me what you think :

    Looks great!
I am worried about splash cover... it is so much on the outside. I would switch wizard towers and AD's maybe?
