I left my clan after the last round of cwl this season.
There have been issues for a while, and things continued to deteriorate.
At least 1 member started trolling, by donating wrong troops whenever possible.
All week, the daily plan was completely ignored by some individuals.
I took that one as a personal snub.. werent gonna let me dictate to them..

shame really. We went in quite light. Only 30 green lights entered by mistake.
And we easily finished in 6th place. Really well done to the guys against the odds.
But.. By day 6 the usual bickering about wrong donations, and losing stars by unnecessarily hitting high wore me down.
At least this time I didnt rage quit. Simply said I was pulling my accounts after the event.

So good luck to the guys, and heres to a new beginning.
Guess its 15v in Silver 1 for me next season.

Unfortunately, it only takes One to ruin everything.

    Are you doing solo cwl?

I want to, but my clan needs me.

That was my problem for months mate.
I have started to withdraw accounts a few times, but makes things difficult for the guys, so each time I went back.

But things got real bad recently.
The trolling started, and seems to be more than one person.
Clan is full of casuals and kids, friends of friends sort of thing.

war log was first to suffer.
We went 5 straight defeats. Our previous worst was always 2.
Not a biggie in most peoples eyes, but there was no end in sight.
The weight was still flying onto the bases, so opposition simply grew, but nobody was trying anything different.
Valks at 11, god knows what at 10, and gowipe or dragons at 9 isnt going to support rapid base growth.

The cwl spin was a mistake.
To be fair to the guy, he set his alarm to start it to suit requests, so basically spun with one eye open.

But there were still plenty of positives with our little clan...
I absolutely love the guy I handed the clan over to way back.
He is solid, with much the same outlook as myself. I stayed on because of him.

We turned around our war log together.
Basically, we had to drop all but the filler bases from the roster, but were sitting on 4 green lines when I left.
Our cwl season, although we got a bad start, and carried 3x 7s and 3x8s all week in Crystal 3, coupled to the fact the clan simply dont read messages before dropping and disappearing again, we survived, finishing easily in 6th.
Not sure how far my 9 accounts, and his 4, helped in achieving this.

So plenty of positives, but unfortunately not enough.
The clan has been in decline for a long time.
The "open to anyone" is killing it for me.
I play for fun, and battering your head against a wall every turn isnt fun mate.

So yes, I will be going solo. Silver 1. Dont know what weight I will find there, but I have a few biggish accounts, so expect to be able to stick or twist, depending how much time I have.

    appreciate the offer mate.
I have accounts to spare mate, I should be embarrassed to say. Will take a look closer to the time and PM you mate.

Thing I will miss most, is having my buddy at my side come war.
Will be strange after so long doing war together.
Hopefully it wont take him too long to realise that ship is sinking.
Shame, since its a level 12 clan.

PS.. Hopefully OP will join in at some point. Be nice to get some views and input as to his reasons.
Poor clan management is rather vague Ronan
