Book of hero price increase?

it does seem an issue that is affecting many people that "seemingly" is easy to fix with a maintenance break.. SC just update it so we can go back to normal! a quick maintenance break and harmony again....

We've got a few bug fixes going into the next maintenance apart from the BoH price fix. That one's an easy one to fix, but we've got a couple more complicated bug fixes going in as well, thus why it's taking time to go to maintenance. We'd rather get them all out of the way in one shot rather than have to go down for multiple maintenances.

makes sense.. but this is taking over the forums and im sure most would be happy with two maintenance breaks if it meant they could buy a hero book from the trader.

the next issue is that players will have to wait for the hero book to appear in the trader cycle again.. I can see a hero book appearing in the shop for 500 gems..lol

@Diarian, at least, can you clarify to some of us if supercell will refund the excess gem form BoH. or at least have 2 MB as suggested above

Somehow there was only 1 BoH in the new cycle

SC decided to make it more BoH > just before the day and the work week ended for SC, someone manually updated the trader cycle code by replacing at least two, maybe three other books with a BoH [All the other books are 925 gems, BoH is 500 gems]

That person made a mistake: they changed the item name, but they forgot to change the accompanying cost in gems for the items
The change went live

SC went home for a long holiday weekend ....

The forums exploded

SC has acknowledged this, and as Darian stated: in the next maintenance it will be corrected - but they are working on some more things for that maintenance ....
