Book of hero price increase?

Just bought a 500 gem one

It is fixed now. My account is now showing a 500 gem one and it was 925 on a previous day. Still not going to spend gems for it although I REALLY could have used this yesterday or earlier today on my builder base. Now it is just the grind on the main base and I won't use a book on them unless I'm hemorrhaging DE (which shouldn't happen for a while with 2 heroes and the lab).

When you got 500 boh ... That's the right cycle before update ...
I got 925 this morning .... That's the cycle for another book replaced with boh but with incorrect price ...

Just was shocked when finded out this morning BOH for 925 gems. So had to checks forums. My dark is full and i cant upgrade heroes becouse i dont want to give 925 gems for it.

I've noticed that in my maxed account, king and queen 60+ and GW30+ the BOH is 925.
On the others the BOH is 500.
So I suppose it depends on the level of you actual heroes...

Is it possible that the cost of the BoH is tight to the ownership of a season gold pass ?

Like if you bought gold pass you get the 500 gem offer ... player w/o gold pass have to pay 925 gems for the BoH?

Hopefully not - maybe some "official" statement on that matter would be helpful.

This 'bug' is not related to the update itself, so it's logical it's not in there. There are several posts from Kaptain Kat in this thread - she's been nice enough to get a hold of someone at SC offices before they closed down Thursday afternoon for the weekend.

The price of the BoH is supposed to be 500.

What Simba describes below is most likely what happened to most people who now see a BoH for the 925 price.
There was an issue with the BoH being a bit too rare and that was fixed which then lead to this happening.

Apologies for the incovenience and confusion but I hope this information was helpful.

There’s one remaining issue though. The overpriced BoH can be in the offers until next maintenance when it needs to be fixed.

I have no idea when that will be however I do want to warn people that this may not happen over the next few days as it’s a long midsummer weekend in Finland.
