I would say they queue, they don't "stack". If you use 2 builder potions at 10x speed for 1 hour, that would mean you get 20x speed for 1 hour if they stacked. They queue, so you use one potion for 10x speed for 1 hour, then when that one is done you'll use another for 10x speed for 1 hour. If you use 5, you'll get 10x speed for 5 hours.

That is incorrect. 5 Builder potions for 10x speed is 45 hours of work completed. For every 1 builder potion at 10x speed it is 1 hour of work completed faster minus the 1 hour of work it woudlve have taken the buidler to complete without the potion. Hence you have 9 hours of work completed, faster, with 1 potion.

    5 potions- 10 hours so...

    5 * 10h - 1 Hour builder takes= 9 hours faster

    9 hours faster * 5 potions = 45 hours faster

    45 hours faster/24 hours = 1.875 days completed work in 5 hours.

You save 45 hours, but 50 hours of work is done in that 5 hours.

SMH, hours faster is not the same as "X" speed. 9 hours of work completed FASTER within 1 hour is 10x speed. The potion is 10x speed.

5 builder potions for 10x speed is 50 hours of work completed, and it takes 5 hours to do it. So it's 50 hours of work done, over 5 hours. That's 10x speed.

You're confusing a multiple of speed with a count of "extra work accomplished". They aren't just interchangeable.

Think Iíve already mentioned I like you.

My kind of pedant. They will drag you down eventually, at some point you have to give up correcting the misinformed or often wilfully ignorant masses.

No it isn't. He was completely correct.

    This, however, is incorrect.

The builder completes 10 hours of work in the space of 1 hour.

    5 potions- 10 hours so...

    5 * 10h - 1 Hour builder takes= 9 hours faster

    9 hours faster * 5 potions = 45 hours faster

Nope. You do NOT subtract the 1 hour, there is no reason to do so.

In that 5 hours, the builder will have completed 50 hours worth of work.

It is 45 extra hours, but that does not mean he only completes 45 hours of work. It means he completes 45 more hours than he would have without the potions.
