Well you never know. Plus it seems better to release the update when the season ends, which is next week.

Its seems better for the OBS side of the update to be after the season end but not the rest of the update OBS might not go into effect till next season and the update still get dropped this week

Looking at the twitter comments yesterday I would say that they wanted to release yesterday but found some bugs. It happens. Google would not randomly put that up if it was not going to happen today.
