How to not misclick your presents:

Go into village edit mode
Erase mode.
Click on Santa strike
Move it to a safer location.
Save Village.
Rearm trap with no worries.

How to not misclick your presents:

Save Village.

What if you click in the present by accident while on village edit mode, does it collect the presents? I tried it with tombstones but it collected them
