Hey guys,

just wondering if there will be a minimum main base TH level besides the obvious level 9 BB for the master builder to come over?

Any ideas? Any YT leaks that were not in the official video? Or anything I missed?

I left the BB‘s of my mini accounts at the level corresponding to the available gear-ups. Would hate to have to grind them all to level 9 ...

Good question,
The night village unlocks at TH4.
we know you need to have finished all your gear ups and the mortar gear up costs 8 million.
Im not quite sure if you can hammer the gear up otherwise the restriction would be at the TH level where you can store the 8 mil gold you need for the mortar gear up in the main village.

the mortar needs to be lvl 8 in order to gear it up, and that is available in th10, so no 6th builder before th10

Isnt it the multi mortar in builderbase that needs to be level 8 ?

We've been wanting to introduce a 6th Builder for a long time. This update provided us the opportunity to do so, while creating an interesting, and perhaps fun, way of tying it to the Home Village.

There are always challenges when we try to introduce a new feature to the game. Especially one that players have been wanting for a while. With previous Builders, there was an ever-increasing Gem cost tied to it. So when it came to a 6th Builder, there was a no-win situation for each:

Have players pay for 6th Builder with Gems: OMG THIS IS A CASH GRAB! SUPERCELL IS JUST GREEDY!
Give players the opportunity to get a 6th Builder for free: OMG YOU'RE FORCING US TO PLAY!

Yes, there are progress advantages to having a 6th Builder, and we knew going in that this feature could be potentially controversial among some subset of players. This was also one of the reasons behind the Builder Potion price adjustment in the League Shop.

When we said that we wanted to minimize how Builder Base affected Main Village, if you harken back to my earlier posts, you'll see it largely refers to the Gear-Ups and how beneficial those upgrades will be for players. Having a 6th Builder, again - does provide a progressive advantage, provides very minimal tactical defensive/offensive advantage.

There will be an opportunity to set O.T.T.O full form for money?
Like.......ehm..... BH9 pack maybe?

I'm a townhall 12 and my mini is a townhall 11. On my main account I pay for the season pass, on the mini I am a completely "free to play" player.

Currently, both are fully occupied and I have loads of loot left over (usually it would've been dumped into walls with a spare builder but I'm hoarding for the update).

So no, an extra builder is certainly useful at higher townhall levels too

i applaud you, but i dont think you represent the majority of the players. people here on forums are more dedicated and focused than the regular players and also there is really less to upgrade on higher th lvls. for example th10 adds only 20 hero lvls while th9 adds 50....

have you considered the operation blue skies? it will be a major overhaul of legend league and it would be kind ridiculous to do it one week before trophy season ends.

You don't need a 6th builder at the level you are playing .. but, you'll see that thing cause 99% 2 stars pretty soon.

You're running a freemium game. There is no way around the "cash grab" complaints. That one is easily ignored.

But I like how you just completely removed all context from the second one. Fixed it for you.

BH is...a...different game.

Do you really think the complaints would be the same if "opportunity to get a 6th builder for free" was actually in the main game?

You guys choose to do it this way and thus created your own "no-win situation"
