Special XP event week followed by...”Extra Special” events week?

    Hmmmm....
One of the nicest things about the change in the events format from days of yore (one event each week lasting from Thursday through Sunday with occasional special week-long events with no advance notification of the week’s format) has been the variety. Each week, I check the farm news on Sunday to see what days I want to make the most of and which I can ignore. I have loved both the advance news and the incentive to stock up like crazy for a 24-hour all-out push to make the most of a particular event. Two solid weeks of XP is more ho-hum than the old system. There has been no incentive for me to level up in years. Last week, I just served townies and ignored my farm, for the most part. This week, I’m tidying up the barn and stocking up in hopes of something really exciting in the next few (birthday) weeks.

Agree 100% that back to back XP events is a waste. Variety is good, especially when people seem to really like permit or puzzle boats, machine boosters days, and those voucher or tool trucks and town events.

Whats worse, a lot of people send more trucks during 2x XP than usual, and now you’ve got to restock and fairly windy barn. Instead, you’re now getting a message saying you should have reserved those goods because they’re now worth 3x xp !! Hmmmm.

Maybe to get the most out of the new update, you need to be a higher level? New wonderland only for those Level 100 and over? (disclaimer-this is not based on any knowledge of anything, just idle conjecture)

Let's get to making all that stuff!

Yes but, think of the uptake for tom. Lazy bum probably WILL need a rest after all those people frantically hire him in a bid to restock.

I enjoy the extra XP events. Leveling up gives an extra field every second time and 💎💎, as well the truck events give me barn space.
i know many don’t like doing trucks but I don’t mind them. I will have my board sorted ready to go😀

This might be an unpopular opinion but trucks are my fav part of the game and i do appreciate the xp events however the same events twice in a row does got monotonous.

I don’t play for experience, nor have I been since level 100. I’ve been dragging my heels the best I can.

i only did derby this past week. Likely the same for this upcoming week... meh

Do not like back to back XP events. They drain inventory and time is needed to recover. Would be more appropriate to have a couple days of machine boosting events, fishing net maker boost and lobster roaster boost all right afterwards.

I am really looking forward to see what I can do with the 3XP events even though at this point am feeling a bit burned out on the back to back repetition. Probably not get much pleasure out of while short on items.

Yep. I was wondering why SC is trying to empty our barns. Could it have something to do with the update (update, update)? I’m glad the first few days are truck days because I’ll be ignoring them but bummed that the town didn’t get any triple XP love. Justice for the town!✊
