I checked the Hay Day FB page and there was a generally positive (and on topic, except for molto requests for scrolls) response to the back-to-back XP weeks.
I’m assuming that there are a truckload of farmers out there who have made it past the point where they discover that leveling up without sufficient coins for upcoming machines and features is not desirable. This would be true for most farmers who have baby farms and are delighted for the opportunity to level them up “responsibly”. The down side will be when the “moohosive” update feature (love be the new word, sooty) requires lots of coins and the mid-level farmers are broke having leveled up faster than usual. I’m assuming that the new feature will be available at a reasonably low level or there will be serious weeping and gnashing of teeth.
As far as the lack of variety in events (XP) and Derbies (frequent Power), those had to have been programmed in months ago. As I understand it, the schedule for these things may have been set and activated at the time of the last update. I will be interested to see if there is a “reason” for emptying everyone’s barn and wearing out those who opt in with double tasks. If not, ...
