    Good idea. Too bad SC will ignore this idea along with millions of potential idea requests as it will not benefit their profit.

    Hate is a pretty strong word. If I truly ‘hate’ SC for a reason, I wouldn’t be here.

Nothing, the profit is still at a stable level.     There have been many changes that have had little to no impact on their bottom line. Upgrade time reductions. Offering dark clouds option. Addition of books and hammers that reduce the need to buy gems. As far as 2 employees for 3 days, thats a pretty big assumption. You could just change the color scheme or something similar. Not saying the will do so as it's a nice to have but not really a game changer.

    Actually, simply changing the color theme would look kinda ... silly. I assume the data of the altar is a simple and plain file, no layer, no paths. Two states, intact and destroyed. There was hardly any need for such in the past. The builder-modification might be a layer, instead of it's own picture. But might be mistaken there. Both could be possible.
    So they would have to redesign the altars to actually modify them, without aiming for a patchwork that would look rather silly, instead of generating new and editable data.
    But 2 days for a static object with only one layer is exaggerated. One could rebuild the model on a transparent layer, while using the old picture beneath to 'redraw' the old thing, so no complete rework.

    Something someone could work on, while no new graphics are needed.

    But besides that. SC implemented plenty of stuff that wasn't for profit alone. Like changing appearance for troops, heroes and such. Doubt that got them a new income.
