Im curious why is it important for some clans the level of walls? I totally understand the level of troops or cup score or number of weekly wins but level of walls...?

Walls, just like defenses, help a player climb higher during trophy pushes. Theres a huge difference in a maxed th9 and lvl 6 walls and a max th9 and lvl 8+ walls.
