Hi Nick.
This is the situation. I have several versions of my farm that I set “just so” when I use them. On the fairly rare occasion that I use Maggie, it’s usually because (for example) I see a roof or walls or yard that I like (or wanted for some time) but I don’t want to change the look of the manor either because I’m happywith it or the element I’m purchasing doesn’t go well with the other existing elements.
Maggie works by immediately building whatever I purchase. So what usually happens is I have to build it to buy it, and then change my house back to the original design by re-purchasing that. It seems like such a waste generally and especially for people like me who don’t have a lot of vouchers.
Maggie was designed like this before the change to what I’m going to call “licensing the designs”. Remember we weren’t allowed to “keep” any designs so it made sense then. I would like to suggest that given the new system she be redesigned to just store the design until I’m really ready to build it.
I think this is very reasonable not only for the reason already stated but also because
1. the designs she offers are random,
2. intermittent,
3. are not guaranteed to “match” with the other elements of the current design, and
4. Are not guaranteed to repeat within any reasonable time.
In other words, everything about the system makes it logical to buy it when we see it but Maggie’s itchy building finger(mostly unnecessarily) eats up our limited resources by implementing the change immediately.
So that’s my case. I hope it’s worthy of real consideration.
