I just came across this video of dreamzrm raiding and I must say, it is probably the most accurate video of high trophy gameplay I have ever seen:

zzz and 20 minutes later..I'm still staring at clouds lol. This happens all too often once trophies get high enough. Endless clouds until it eventually says "there are no villages to attack!" lol. And this is why I chuckle when people keep complaining about having to press next more than 10 times

Yeah, ouch; thanks for posting this to open the eyes of some of us obvious to how bad it really is. We always hear about it, but don't see it. Seeing is believing.

haha sure thing. I posted it more so because it cracked me up, but laughs aside it's a very real, very tedious issue for high trophy players.

Just imagine if you were to go through this slow, frustrating process for 45 minutes (sometimes even up to 3-4 hours for people at 4000+) and then lost the riad. Losing usually means -30 or more trophies, and it's literally nearly impossible to make those trophies back in time to break even before the force break makes you go offline / on defense (and at this trophy range losing a defense is pretty much certain, and the higher amount of trophies you have the more likely you will lose a massive amount).

It's a very flawed system up there that still hasn't been fixed - just have to laugh at the absurdity of it all to keep ourselves from just giving up / getting angry lol.

Ugh, I actually had no idea it was that bad up there. And I get peeved at having to wait for about 6 seconds when searching for a match.... I can't imagine having to wait that long.

Unless it's been taken out of the game, I believe "cheap shielding" is used by high level clans, where clan members coordinate a system of giving away trophies and free shields to clanmates. For example, a clan member leaves the clan and attacks a clan mate to 40% and quits. This gives one player (presumably the person the clan is trying to push to the top) free trophies and a free shield and later on can revenge for even more trophies.
