finally decided to finish my scorched earth challenge. Didn't quite manage to do everything as struggled to get mining stuff and platininum. I also didn't get enough gold vouchers but here are my finishing stats:

finished: 12 Dec 7.40 am
level 79 311277/476000
silo 1450 (upgraded once)
barn 1850 (upgraded once)
10+ of all products including land,barn, silo and town stuff
10 gift vouchers
10 each of all lures and nets

i didn't get all the mining stuff or platinum .
I only got 8 diamond rings ( due to lack of platinum)
I only got 1 gold voucher.

i ended up with 122 diamonds
coins 1000403

I managed to do the derbies and help out whilst doing the challenge.
I have really enjoyed doing the challenge and would def do it again.

Congratulations Smartie! Good luck Shepherdgirl! I'm going to do another SEC after the new year, as I will have the derby achievement finished then. It will be interesting with all the new products. I think SC should create a special deco for the farmers that do this challenge.

Doing metal illness and respecting the rules except for the green lures which I'll only use to get Christmas or New Years deco if it's a fishing event, vouchers which I'm going to spend on the new holiday deco, and diamonds which will only be used for the new gingerbread people. Can't resist this awesome holiday deco!!

Good luck Shepherd! Congrats Smartie! From 0 coins is even more impressive as you need to build money before planting any tree.
New jam would add 2+ Days, most likely the jam maker will stay the limiting machine in basic / candy modes.
Will probably scorch again in January. Thinking about alterning between derby / SCE / Helpers, which could make a nice variation in game.

ShepherdGirl, and others that have started with 0 coins!!!!!, how do you do that? Really, other than buy lots of the gold statues or Big Red Trucks. Not sure if I'm brave enough to ACTUALLY bring coins to 0. And especially not diamonds. Last SEC I did, I just kept a tablet that showed what I had, and didn't spend before I had actually earned it.

It's almost as exciting to think of the preparations as it is to do the challenge.

Curious about new requirements with new products, I updated my supply file. We now need to produce 10110 barn items (most consumed for further production), 10477 silo items, 105 axes and 99 saws, in Mental Illness Mode. Without even counting mine tools.

I effectively endured a mini, unintended scorch last night.

Discovered my daughter knows my iPad passcode and was selling a heap of my stock to the truck and visitors.

So much quality stock and Saws/Axes gone! :eek:

OUCH!!!! Time to change the passcode and hope for mining and help tasks for this derby. Hopefully, you will recover with little pain, as we hope your daughter does too. (Just kidding)
