The Hay Day Scorched Earth Challenge (ver 2.0)

I finished my challenge a week ago Saturday - I think. Possibly it was a week ago Friday. Last candies came off the machines during an out of country business trip when I wasn't able to do a lot of hay daying.

Wish I had better stats, these are the ones I know:
-- starting level: just barely 120
-- ending level: just barely 121
-- elapsed time: somewhere around 4 weeks
-- starting barn size: 7500
-- ending barn size: 7550
-- starting silo: 5600
-- ending silo: 5600
-- starting coins: 0
-- ending coins: 1.888m

This was such an enjoyable challenge. I will definitely do it again.

Awesome shepherd girl! I didn't think to keep all those stats. I know I leveled up 1 and did increase barn 1 time. Wish I had thought to keep track. See you at the farms

Hi everyone,

I've been reading this thread for sometime and enjoyed following other's experiences doing the Scorched Earth Challenge. Therefore, I decided that when I reached Level 79 and could make all products that I would do it. I started the basic Scorched Earth Challenge yesterday morning, having emptied my barn completely, emptied my silo bar one of each crop and cut all my trees down.

it's now nearly 24 hours since I started and I can report that all animals are fed, all crops and replanted fruit trees are growing and a fair number of machines are already running. I already have 10 each of popcorn, carrot juice and cornbread. I have also started fishing again after making new hooks and nets. My townies are all being sent back to the platform twice a day so my neighbors can pick them up. I'm enjoying thinking about my product strategy and just playing a different way.

I will update my progress periodically.

Thanks for the support! Things are progressing nicely - I am three days into the challenge now. I now have 10 of nine "terminal" products and close to it for several others. Nearly all machines are running, some constantly, others intermittently. It is interesting playing this way. One forgets how many products have tomatoes in them, and how long it takes to build up sufficient numbers of crops like tomatoes, lettuce and strawberries so that one can actually do something sensible with them. Also, it is a novelty to be producing eggs again. I have been buying them since I was at about level 45 when I needed the barn space for other things. Of course, at the moment, my barn still echoes so I can stockpile eggs as much as I like. All in all, I am really enjoying this.

Great update, RoseRed. Glad you are doing so well. You are going to enjoy all the extra EMs you'll get from collecting your chicken eggs so often.
