The Hay Day Scorched Earth Challenge (ver 2.0)

Seeing all the players that have attempted and completed the Scorched Earth Challenge at all levels, has inspired me to do so as well. I feel that if I am going to do Utterly Ridiculous why not take it Steps Further, and do what no one may have attempted to do before, my thinking is fellow players would have to say the following:

• Stray Jacket Needed for that Player
• Get a Padded Cell for that Player
• He escaped from Insane Asylum
• That's a crazy way to get interested at the high levels again.

Well mission accomplished!!! LOL LOL

Starting Requirements:

• Must Start with 0 Coins
• Must Start with 0 Diamonds
• Must Start with 0 Vouchers

Goals to Be Accomplished:

• Must have atleast 10 of Each Lures
• Must Complete 10 Champions Derby Task Per week without having NH get demoted, if NH Get Demoted you start over again from 0.
• Must have 10 of Every Tools & Expansion Materials (That Includes Town, Barn, Silo and Land Expansions)
• Must have atleast 10 of Every Item that you can produce or harvest
• Must have atleast 10 of Each Vouchers (in addition to the ones used to make lures, yipes)

Variables to Mode:
Normal: No Changes
Overkill: You cant keep anything from Derby Prizes, Tool Box, Chests or Global Event Prizes (i.e. Milestone Rewards)

When you are ready to start, make note of the date and time you started by posting in this thread. Post again once you've completed the challenge (or given up like a quitter! ) and revel in the glory of your own success!

Tried to think of the most insane things to do lol to make it as much of a reasonable challenge as possible.

Declaring the challenge over as of now. I have 10 or more of everything in the barn except diamond rings (8), necklaces (9), platinum bars (0) and the raw ores except silver. Waiting for the platinum would be too incredibly dull and tedious -- and burning through mining tools collecting rocks and looking for platinum seems wasteful. I am also too impatient at this point to spend an additional 2 days of production time making up for the 3 freebie candy bits mentioned previously. So, back to regularly scheduled farming it is -- starting with looking for a trucking task in this week's derby! The basic production part of the challenge was quite fun and I would consider doing it again at some point; it can be done in fairly short order. Good luck to everyone else who's in the midst. If anyone's looking for me, I'll be out shopping (oh wait, the barn is pretty full...)...

Diamonds started x, now x+2 (played extra task in 2 derbies, made 8 diamond rings, bought 4 machine expansion slots)

I have a question for anyone who has experienced this: my hoodies don't use the forums, so they have no idea what this scorched earth thing is and I was thinking of doing it in the near future. Do I explain to them? Surely helping boats, etc will be a challenge while completing this challenge. Was anyone able to complete derby tasks while doing scorched earth? I think I need to stop asking questions and just jump in, but I am a planner. I need to write out a plan lol

Course you can the helps task would prob be the best and easiest if you found enough trees and bushes to help.


i really want to do scorched earth but for anyone whose seen my farm it would take me a life time to clear and my farm would look so sparse with no trees and bushes....

Well' could wait for candy crush, but that would be looking at another week. This is a challenge of waiting, had finished most of items within 2 weeks, but that jam is a pain. This was a good exercise in planning, but don't think I'll do it again. The hardest part for me was getting rid of everything and killing my trees & bushes.

Took me 4 days to empty barn and silo, get coins to 0, diamonds to 0. use up all lures traps, get gift certificates to 0, vouchers to 0 (think its crazy we uses axes and saws to chop down trees, but use green and blue vouchers to plant lol), All Pets and Animals Hungry (Please Do Not Call Animal Humane Society!)

Many friends reminded me how hard it would be to get vouchers without derby, chests, tool boxes, global event milestone rewards, and made me see the light that Armageddon Overkill mode would take months maybe a year if not more, and that Overkill Mode is nutty enough.

I get quite excited at the idea of doing the Scorched Earth challenge and I will one day, I'm just doing a few other things first.
