Unfortunately I'll have to have to stop scorching because there is something wrong -- no matter how much I wheat I don't get any tool drops anymore.

Can't make any metals when I can't wheat for mining tools.

I've read about this a few times, that really sucks.

Except I can't harvest any more fruit without axes and saws, so can't make 10 of most products either. I suppose I could play the cornbread & popcorn mode. Seems pointless though.

Oh! I didn't know that. Was just about to start transferring items from baby farm, but will hold on until the maintenance in hopes of scorching on. Thanks!!

I built up 102 saws but only have 50 axes left.

I *think* Nick probably closed the thread because there were eleventy billion threads about it. Merging might have been a better option.

Nick said 'they need to re balance some things' - which sounded a bit odd to me, more like when they balance *how many* of one thing drops, so I'm not entirely sure they grasp the problem, but with so many posts about it, it's hard to see how they couldn't. Of course, there doesn't seem to be much of a hurry to sort it either. It's happened to one poster every update/maintenance for a while. SOME have said it 'resets' when you level up, so if you're near levelling up you might be ok.

Thanks so much SChange, for the kik and the axe offer. That's so nice of you!! Am going to wait it out in hopes of a quick maintenance, so I can keep the scorch intact.

Trying to stay positive after the awesome update and great new features and deco.

So will use the time to catch up on my poor dwindling long growing crops that I'd been neglecting in my wheating frenzy for mining tools. The pathetic thing is I wonder how long I was wheating before I realized the tools had dried up. LOL. Well, at least the wheat was selling for 36 coins so I've to built up enough to replant my whole farm, even if I don't have the tools to harvest it yet.
