The Hay Day Scorched Earth Challenge (ver 2.0)

I was thinking about the challenge and it said to remove ALL OF YOUR TREES AND BUSHES. But in the corner I have a few apple and cherry trees for the pets as decoration and I have never used them, would it be possible to keep them there when I do the challenge. I have never touched them, or used them. I don't want to get rid of them.

It says throughout the thread that if you don't want to use up & chop down your trees you can just put them away somewhere that you won't accidentally use them in the challenge

Today is the day! Took me 4 days to empty barn and silo, get coins to 0, diamonds to 0. use up all lures traps, get gift certificates to 0, vouchers to 0 (think its crazy we uses axes and saws to chop down trees, but use green and blue vouchers to plant lol), All Pets and Animals Hungry (Please Do Not Call Animal Humane Society!)

Many friends reminded me how hard it would be to get vouchers without derby, chests, tool boxes, global event milestone rewards, and made me see the light that Armageddon Overkill mode would take months maybe a year if not more, and that Overkill Mode is nutty enough.

It Has now been 48 hours since I started this challenge, here is my progress so far:

• I have planted 30 of every Tree (Cherry, Apples, Lemons, Cacao, Olives)
• I Have Planted 30 Blackberry, 30 Raspberry, 18 Coffee and 12 Nectar (Planted these 3rd time last night)
• Harvested 18 Duck Feathers and 6 Lobster Tails
• I Have lure Maker constantly making lures, Have 33 Red Lures and Lucky 3 Purple Lures,
• I make 2:1 Ratio of Duck Trap to Lobster Traps Daily, when I sleep I load up on Lobster Traps in Machine, figured I can harvest ducks at least twice to ever lobster harvest, plus the duck traps take less time than lobster traps.
• I Have been feeding my pets regularly now, its a constant struggle to keep up with bacon though, you can only harvest bacon every 4 hours, it takes awhile if you have all the dogs and puppies to finally break away with a surplus, to use for productions.
• I Have loaded up my Raspberry Candles and started lemon candles.
• Already have 3 raspberry jams made with blackberry jams starting to pop out so I can start dreaded jelly beans.
• Been mining as much as I get tools, and I am finding platinum ores to be the hardest, trying to save up tools for mining task that pops up during derby.
• Selling Expansion Materials frequently for coins, I have 54K coins now and working to increase it. I also have 12 Diamonds now.
• Right now this week derby has me worried as I have to complete 10 tasks without neighborhood getting demoted, can't stack yet because barn is not even 20% full yet.
• I repeatedly go to golden tree and try to harvest from it in hopes that one day it might actually give me Golden Vouchers, Gold Coins or Diamonds lol. No Luck Yet!!!!

I'm intrigued to see how you get on with the Derby. One of the things putting me off doing Scorched Earth is that I want to complete the CL Derby Achievement this year & don't want to jeopardise it.

I did scorched earth and i could compete in derby direct...

Having loads of wheat and corn you can produce food with foodmill.

Easy to do with challenge:
* Growing wheat/corn/carrots.... And if you're on your way some time other grow things. Even rice can be done within a day. 1 rice starting 2 rice after 75 minutes, 4 after 150 minutes, 8 after 225 minutes, 16 after 300 minutes, 32 after 375 minutes, 64 after 450 minutes, 128 after 525 minutes, so within 10 hours
* Feeding animals (producing chickenfood takes 20 minutes.... you can easily feed your chicken and grow wheat and corn)
* Helping other farms. Watering doesn't take any measures
* Producing stuff from machines as soon as you get ingredients...

I have 18 Strawberries planted right now will have 36 when I can harvest them in 3 hours and 51 minutes

My exact logic as well, but your time is off on rice its 45 minutes to harvest not 75 your time is scarier lol

We are a small hood (4) in the CL and so to place (which is what we all want to do) we need to do 10x320 tasks.

We get very few crop tasks (maybe 2 if we are lucky), it's been a few weeks since we got an animal feeding task, we get very few help/mining tasks and most of our production tasks are ones that need several premium ingredients. I just don't think we get enough do-able tasks and the others would struggle to do their tasks if they couldn't do the 'easy' tasks. I think we'd take a real hit if I did this just now and that's not fair on the others.
