Now that I know what the next update is, I have decided NOT to wait. I am going to start prep this week and I hope to start my Challenge this weekend.

When I get home from work I plan on starting my own thread and lay out my plans.

I've started prepping for "utterly rediculous scorched earth challenge". As soon as I begin, I will not be able to help fill boat crates but hopefully my neighbors can find good stuff in my rss while I'm clearing out my barn! Stage 1 is clearing my orchard which is dependent on my supply of saws so ive decided to keep all deco trees/bushes and half of the orchard but just not use them. Then stage 2 will be the massive barn sell off. Everything must go!!

The mystical in art, the mystical in life, the mystical in nature, this is what I am looking for and in the great symphonies of music, the initiation of sorrow, and in the depths of the sea I may find it. It is absolutely necessary for me to find it somewhere." -O. Wilde

Good luck Neen. As you know I am stepping away from the game for awhile and have been selling off everything too. Boy is it hard to let go. While I was waiting for the little people to come back, I decided to visit a random farm because that was mentioned once as a way to get them to come back quickly. I opened a RSS from the DD, saw planks for sale and my finger just reacted and bought them. Planks are the last thing I need right now. I almost bought a blanket too. Good luck and I'll be watching you off and on so that if I come back, I will be in your same shoes.

Thanks for all the well wishes guys! I must admit, i never realized what an undertaking this venture is. It is akin to moving from one home to another; the more you clean out and get rid of, the more you begin to realize just how much stuff you have accumulated over the years. I'm so glad you are enjoying the ride Willa . It has only been drips and drabs so far as it has taken a loooooong time to clear out my tackle box and orchard. I've decided to keep some behind a fence because I just don't have enough axes & saws to chop the whole dang thing down!! I thought it would be sad, but its fun and freeing at the same time. Oh, and on top of all that, I have been ushering a few unwanted guests out (foxes) so my place is in complete disarray. Well, you must break a few eggs to make an omlett right? Thanks so much for the guidance, Glade Maid. You are an expert! If anyone needs to plan said eviction party, glade is your lady! Well, back to cleaning house to get ready for the final sell-off and insuing restock. Its a process but I'll let you all know when to visit for the bulk of my inventory. And don't worry Tiggs, I know you will be there cheering me on even if i don't see your cutie bouncy avatar visiting my shop. Xo

That's not what the fox said!

Glad to be of assistance, Neen.

Tiggs, your farm is looking so empty, it makes me sad. Please do me a favour and make sure all the animals are feed before you leave. It would really distress me to see hungry animals each time i pop by to check your tool box.
