Farming stupidity or brilliancy?

When raiding I do look on potential sites for bombs and deploy one barb there. Icing on th cake if I can take the loot and cheaply use up the traps.

Having said this I do keep my own bombs inside my walls so they aid in fighting off real raiders. I tend to empty my mines/collectors so often that true farmers avoid my base.

If you are farming in whatever range it may be, and then for whatever reason you do become attackable, the ideal scenario for a farmer would be to have the TH sniped, and then the attacker leave.

The bombs are there to stop people stealing the resources. Granted the amount of traps that may be set up when someone does try for this may be counter productive, but if they explode/are used and it stops them stealing more than the cost of the bombs/traps, then job done.

I just rearm them because i am a bit OCD about it. I regret ever building them.

On a different note, i will never understand why people put teslas around a snip able TH. dont you want a free shield?

If you don't want to rearm them one by one, then rearm them all once, then put the bombs you don't want in the corner. I guess of the OCD people still can't stand that haha.

The stupid ones are the ones that leave 4-5 bombs by their th and all their spring traps and mini bombs.

Unfortunatly, SC has not been able to advance the game beyond farming. Tried with league system but gave up instead of tuning it/making it better/working on it. Hence, we are all stuck at very close throphy range farming. Guess that that is fine. Quite game and do something else if you don't like it.

But there is one thing that makes me giggle and truly laugh at times. Farmers (th 8, 9, and 10s) in the 1400 - 1700 range leaving fully equipped giant bombs and bombs active. Not sure what the price is for re-arming fully built out bombs, but mine are 125.000 as it stands now (about lvl 2 on giant bombs and lvl 3 on bombs).

Why on earth do you leave them armed? Dude, i attack you, maybe 100.000 gold available. And i rush in with simple/cheap archer-barb army. And "BOOM", there just went another 25k, "BOOM" another 25k. Hah, and after I am done, on top of the 100.000 i took, the player spends an additional 125.000 - 200.000 to re-arm?

Why would anyone use bombs when your not trophy hunting and at a higher level? Why spend 150.000 gold to try to protect your 100.000 gold?

left out elix since it is not most farmers primary concern. Maybe there is an argument if you include elix. Not that i understand. Hehehe

so the way i look at it is. I set my th out so you can have some trophies. Free. If you come closer, my bombs go off. When that happens, you are now going to be hit in revenge. If you take my th and leave. I let you go.

You've also got to understand that a lot of people dont care about the price or even if an army is cost effective or whatever they just like to raid and be raided cause they enjoy the game.A lot of kids play this game and they just dont care either way
