Farming stupidity or brilliancy?

Unfortunatly, SC has not been able to advance the game beyond farming. Tried with league system but gave up instead of tuning it/making it better/working on it. Hence, we are all stuck at very close throphy range farming. Guess that that is fine. Quite game and do something else if you don't like it.

But there is one thing that makes me giggle and truly laugh at times. Farmers (th 8, 9, and 10s) in the 1400 - 1700 range leaving fully equipped giant bombs and bombs active. Not sure what the price is for re-arming fully built out bombs, but mine are 125.000 as it stands now (about lvl 2 on giant bombs and lvl 3 on bombs).

Why on earth do you leave them armed? Dude, i attack you, maybe 100.000 gold available. And i rush in with simple/cheap archer-barb army. And "BOOM", there just went another 25k, "BOOM" another 25k. Hah, and after I am done, on top of the 100.000 i took, the player spends an additional 125.000 - 200.000 to re-arm?

Why would anyone use bombs when your not trophy hunting and at a higher level? Why spend 150.000 gold to try to protect your 100.000 gold?

left out elix since it is not most farmers primary concern. Maybe there is an argument if you include elix. Not that i understand. Hehehe

It's a very good point, but I would venture to say that many CoC players are OCD, especially after what some have said concerning their walls.

in any case, don't come on here moaning when you have a hard time farming and re arm everything for 120k, I totally agree with you.

Yeah I dunno. I have no idea why people do this. I haven't built the giant bombs or air mines. I have no intention of arming them, and as long as they aren't built I can hit "re-arm all".

The greatest stupidity I ve seen is placing 4 giant bombs around an outside town hall.

Once my two archers sniped a town hall, moved 1 step forward, and set off all four of them.

My guess would be they havent done the math to figure they are losing money. The only other thing i could think of is maybe a th10 has 400K available to be stolen so 100k for bombs isn`t much as compared to losing 400K. I put the bombs out on mine but only re-arm the air mines.

I use giant bombs exclusively to kill mass hogs.

So far I ve massacred three 30+ hog packs in my 11 days as a Th 9.

They got away with a combined 10k gold, 40k elixir, and 50 DE of loot.

Ya lol I have the same thought. My favorite is if its a black hole base and they fill it with giant bombs. One goblin poof 25k, then another poof ect.

And if they put it in front of the town hall the attackers still going to get the 2%. If you want to tick off the attacker of use teslas, not 4 giant bombs🙉
