It would be awesome if I were pushing cups, but I've already made Masters and don't want to try and make Champs as a mid-range TH9...
So it's OK, it would probably be great for me actually, if I had more time to raid (it's a busy time of year, for once clash isn't top of the priority list lol!) That said, I wasn't exactly struggling earlier, so with the new barracks boost, I don't need more loot, just the same loot in less time maybe? (great theory, not sure it's worked out that way in reality yet)
BTW the spell factory boost pretty much wrecked the loot for many too, if anyone else remembers? Not surprising... make it easier to do more / heavier raids, then a few people get great loot while the rest struggle more 'cause someone else got there first. Basic logic, not hard to guess...
Loot sucked badly after this boost started.
More raiders = fewer juicy bases left to raid = frequent loot drought
They should have boosted gold, DE, or both.

I'm beginning to wonder if anyone at SC has ever studied math, statistics, or economics...even on their own not even a formal degree. All these sheeple playing the game could see it wouldnt work for most people from the start.

Agreed...I was farming de for a day at 1800, was finding plenty of juicy de battles, there were many above 2300. After the boost, Im struggling to find anything above 1000, and when I do find it, it is in a th10 base wuth disco infernos, and maxed out defenses. Honestly, no point in boosting if your ging to waste the same amount of time searching...at least while your waiting you can chat.

You guys have farmed Masters dry lol... Crystal is no better, last 24 hours especially a couple of hours ago, it felt like a wasteland too, hard (but not impossible) to find anything worth raiding. Not surprising, not surprising at all. BTW to spend 210k DE, every day, requires you to spend $ on gems... good business strategy for SC? Not surprising, not surprising at all...!
I'm hoping loot will be awesome around xmas / new year, when everyone is on holiday. Except I'll be on holiday from 1 Jan too... I'm already planning the best way to empty out all my coffers on 31 Dec!
If they don't get a grip soon I'm just going to quit and I'm sure thousands and thousands will do so as well.

They start training as soon as you que them in the baracks.. But when first troop is ready and army camps are full, they stop untill there is spare room for new troops in your camps.
So first troop start right away, but second troop in que wont start before you have started using troops, freeing up space for them in the camps.
Meaning that if you do farming troops, and press next for 20 mins to find match, those 20 mins boost are just wasted.. But you will ofcause have boost for the 3 mins that you attack :-/
This game is now in its death throes as SC have overstepped the mark and killed the goose that laid the golden egg....
They just don't care about experienced players who are struggling to progress in the face of scarce resources and impossibly expensive upgrades...
They just want to pander to the gullible noobs who will reach for their wallets and shell out for gems.........o
The barrack boost is great if you are using low end troops without spells but if you are using high end troops im sure you are using spells also, so you need to wait 2-3 hours for those spells to be made. No need for a barracks boost without a spell boost
