It's kinda funny that this gets asked first every time..
..and then if people are at 1900-2100 range not finding loot, they are adviced to go down to 1600-1800 range..
..and if they are at 1600-1800 range, they are adviced to go up to 2000+ range ? Lol

Would be intersting to see, if people gave the "good range to be at" before asking what range the person is playing at.. Wonder how many would then say the spot the person was allready playing at.. He he ;-)

It's just common sense, when you find nothing in your range, move to another range, don't sit there whining and expect miracles to happen. It's you who control your game.
And FYI, I've already given him my range (which i'm comfortable with atm), whether he finds it good or bad, it's all up to his luck. But then again, trying is always better than sitting around doing nothing.

Lol mendax, everything they have done thus far has been to get us to buy more gems. Why did they change the loot tables in the first place? Why are they ignoring all of the posts concerning loot? Im not talking about my post, which was basically just a rant, but i have read multiple posts with legitimate questions for SuperCell.

why do i think the "usual boost" is a grinch move? Because rather than communicate with the players as theyve done in the past, they simply ignore us and give us a gift.

This is absolutely garbage tbh. The devs are fully aware and they will find a way to combat this issue, as they usually do, would you really think a big company like sc would like to disatisfy its customers? - I think not, no one is giving sc a chance, and its quite rude if i say so. The loot system has just been implemented its not all velvet.. People act as though its all been locked and will never be solved.

I don't understand this line of reasoning. Unhappy players are not going to buy gems. SC knows this.

They stated why they changed the loot tables in detail:

They also have indicated they are monitoring the loot situation and will make changes as appropriate:

They give us gifts because the players asked for them first of all, and second because they think players will enjoy it. A cheap barracks boost has often been asked for, and in addition they added an elixir boost to fund those additional attacks. They will be adding additional boosts for the other resources (at least they seem to have hinted at that). Loot will likely be incredible if they roll out a gold collector boost and when combined with a barracks boost it should make for some really fun clashing.

RJ, i haven't been below 1900 trophies in over a year. I feel like it would be a huge cop out for me to have to resort to dropping so low just to stay productive enough to enjoy the game even mildly. But i'm also not stubborn enough to NOT try it, so i will take your advice and give it a try. I've set the bar very low as to not allow myself even further disappointment, but i really don't see these new changes as a "trophy range problem"

really feel your pain on this one. Hurt so much dropping down, but that was my only option after this upgrade. I was playing in the 2400 range but got slaughtered by max th10 so had to drop.

now I am back to old school. Quick archer/barb raids at 75 - 125k gold in the 1500 range.

You all have much more faith in SuperCell than most people. So far they have done nothing but change the loot tables, and promise us it will be better. You are acting as though its better and i'm ignoring all the facts. When/if it does get better and work out, i will definitely admit i was hasty in my judgements, but so far actions speak louder than words, and i guess i just dont have any reason to trust their promises yet.

dont get me wrong dahini and mendax, you both have valid points, but as the game is in its current state its just not as fun as it used to be for me. Its a game, and all of these annoyances make it hard to log on to a game i have loved to play since it came out.

as i said before, i'll definitely play around with the trophy ranges, and obviously we have no choice but wait and hope it gets better, but its crazy to not be at least a little frustrated with the state of things.
