This is just a rant i guess, but this game has really gone downhill since the new ownership/update. I was dealing with it at first... Sure you have to search an extra 5-10 minutes to find a base even mildly acceptable to have a productive raid, but no big deal right?

well now i've hit a 2 day dry spell on raids, anyone encounter this? I cant find a base with over 100k gold (and really a 100k raid is pretty worthless) to save my life, and with walls costing me 1 mil gold a piece whats the point? Now this new elixir and barracks update is another cheap ploy for them to make money off of the gamers. Who even needs elixir boosts at this point who have been playing the game over a year? I certainly dont. And 45 minutes fir barracks boost? Make it a little shorter SuperCell, i think 1 or 2 people may not have caught on that youre actually the cheap grinch that stole christmas.

Supercell plz just dont make me have to give my credit card info just to log on, but i fear it may be their logical next step.

again, im not a gemmer, and never have been, and if you are thats great and i bet little has changed for you... BUT.. I have TH9 with everything maxed but walls, its was tedious enough before the update, but this is ridiculous. That will end my rant i guess... Crossing my fingers things will "work themselves out" or however supercell coined it to get us to shut up.

You should provide your current range and TH level, so that people here can help. Loot in this game is very dynamic, you know?

Yes i guess i forgot those tidbits. Like i said i have TH9 with everything maxed out as far as troops and defense. My king is lvl 5, my queen is lvl 22. I generally farm between 1950 and 2150 trophies.

Have you tried going down to 1600-1800, or even 1500? Some people here said that range is pretty good for the last couple of days. I'm at around 1800 as well, while the loot is a bit dry compared to pre-boost, it's not that bad during this hour, I'm still able to find a couple of collectors bases once in a while.

Why only elixir? After finals, i.e., not getting to play for weeks, i would really appreciate some gold boosts, as i'm currently broke as a joke... Furthermore, it does seem impossible to find any gold while raiding. The only time in the last few days that i've found acceptable loot is from abandoned bases. Or is this more of a gift to yourselves, Supercell? Trying to trick us into using our stocking stuffers (iTunes giftcards) to buy more gems?

Th8 @ 1950 shouldn't complain about loot, that's not your range, you'll have to compete with Th9 & 10 and more susceptible to getting attacked by Th9. Drop to gold III or even silver I.

The 45 minutes boost has always been like that. Also, it's just 1 gem for goodness' sake, you can gain them back by chopping your damn trees. You don't have to boost ALL of your barracks all the time, you only need to boost about 2 of them, and that's enough for you to raid constantly using BAM.

Oh and btw, gold or DE boost will come next week, be patient.

RJ, i haven't been below 1900 trophies in over a year. I feel like it would be a huge cop out for me to have to resort to dropping so low just to stay productive enough to enjoy the game even mildly. But i'm also not stubborn enough to NOT try it, so i will take your advice and give it a try. I've set the bar very low as to not allow myself even further disappointment, but i really don't see these new changes as a "trophy range problem"

I lied. I'm TH lvl 9. And this is the natural range for my trophies. I would have to purposefully drop trophies to get down to Gold III or silver I. No offence, but I find it hard to believe you could not find one raid over 100k in two days, but maybe you're just really unlucky. try 1700-1850, I seem to be getting fairly good raids (approx. 150k average) if you go for th8s with lots of gold in their storages.
Secondly, one gem barrack is terrific value for money. With that, you make armies four times previously. Look at it from this point of view. BAM takes 12 min (ish) to build. Suppose each time you gain 150k, or even just 90k. Building the army with boosted barracks now only takes 3 min, allowing you to constantly raid back to back.
Unboosted barracks: 150k x 4 equals 600k in 45 minutes
Boosted barracks: 150k x 16 equals 3.6 million in 45 minutes
3 million for 6 gems. Not bad.
OK, these are optimum conditions, but even with bad luck, the 4 gems still makes you over 1 million extra.
Hope you start finding better loot!
