What would be fair for the townhall 10's... being able to lose 400k to a weak army, or being able to lose 400k to a good army... If you could defeat a townhalll 10 with weaker armies it would cause a lot more outrage than there currently is...

So many contradictions and so much nonsense in a single post. Par for the course for dragonn though.

@ OP: I get your point, but I think you're missing a whole side of the question. Do you realize than attack-wise ... TH10 is quite the same as TH9?
Thus, complaining about the fact that it's hard for a TH9 to hit a TH10 ... well, it's not "false", but do you realize that it's as hard being a TH10 ? ....
You just have to get that disco inferno is an ultimate weapon against low-cost armies.
As a TH9, if you want to crush a TH10, you can. You build an army with golem + WB + wizard + witches.
And in the end you're just below what a TH10 can deal in attack power. That'll be enough to 50% most TH10.

And being a TH10 doesnt help you wrecking other TH10.
I think making defenses important as it is now is good. Farming for months to get crushed is not fun. Now a good base with good walls and good design will stay up against most type of attacks, and disco inferno is a good strategic point added in the game, as you have to chose whether you want to defend against golem-type armies or farm/hogs/balloon types.

I feel this was a good change

I agree with the sentiment that raging balloon/minions work well against th10. Though, I wonder how impressive getting 200/200k is from a base that protects it's storages so thoroughly...
@Mendax - You were kicked for being rude, arrogant and obnoxious and for having a ♥♥♥♥ base.

At TH7, I could destroy TH8 with the strongest troops. At TH8 I could destroy TH9 with Rage + Dragons. At TH9 I can't do anything to TH10. Literally, I can't even get 50% most of the time, if I used witches I get 50% most of the time, thats about it.

It is IMPOSSIBLE for TH9 to defeat max TH10 (2 Star) without using Golem/Witches. You are lucky if you can do 50% damage with regular troops (Dragons/PEKKA/Wizards/Minions/Hogs/Valkyrie), base design needs to suck and the inferno tower needs to be on single mode to even dent TH10 with regular troops.

The point is that we should be able to deliver a devastating blow to TH10 with TH9 army without relying on high level troops that are only meant to be used for trophy push at Master/Champion league. That has been the theme since the game first began, TH7 could take down TH8 and TH8 could take down TH9 but TH9 can't take down TH10.

It is IMPOSSIBLE to take down TH10 (MAX and with good base design) with any troop combination. SC sort this mess out.

While I'm at it, I like to say TH10 design is absolutely ugly, what is SC thinking, electric wall with lava TH with purple mountain Wizard Tower with brownish Archer Tower. FIRE THE DESIGNER AND HIRE ME NOW!!! I'll even work for free. (Depends on hour)
To this I say, good luck taking down my maxed th 9 with th 8 troops.... Not very likely that this will happen. And if you could 100% me with lower th troos that wouldn't make very much sense now would it? Deal with it, as a th9 you're not very likely to 3 star a maxed th 10. As a th 10 you'd be lucky to 3 star a maxed out th 10. In fact most people I know in champ league go for 50% and or the th.

You completely missed the point he was proving. Look at his trophy count, he doesn't care about loot he's at 3000 trophies. He was proving that a TH9 army without golems and witches can get 50% of a maxed TH10 base. The loot is just a bonus. No one raiding a fully maxed TH10 is going for loot.

    Th10 is simply nearing completion

A Th8 has little chance of smashing a TH9 with tier 1 or even 2 troops (at least on their own)

Th7 is probably the only exception, in that a skilled dragon raider can obliterate a TH8 without significant effort (just some lightening clouds) - but even that involves a Tier 3 troop.

Th10 is simply reaching its maturity. Th9 defenses can no longer compare to a 10. This is pretty much the trend from Th 1-6 and 8-9

Now if you want to argue defenses jump too drastically from Th levels, well that is a different argument all together.

Personally I think at Th9 and 10 defensive abilities jump far too dramatically. I think for a TH8 to deal a hefty % on even a premature Th9 with 2 x-bows, or a Th9 to deal a heft % to a premature Th10 with 2 infernos and 3 x-bows is a bit much. I know this is probably to give those premature some hope. But Th levels 1-8 their is not this dynamic.

But I also agree attacking-power wise a TH10 has little difference with Tier 1-2 units. There are a couple now but only wizards and goblins actually have another level.

ROFL, so you want to take out strong highest in game level bases (TH10), yet don't want to use high level troops to do it?

You want your cake and to eat it too
