Well of course, if you can find 2 inactive base raids in a row with 500k gold.

Exactly my point. How much can you realistically farm in half an hour (without boosting). 400k? 500k? That is if you're lucky. But wait, how many times did you press 'next' in order to find these rich bases?
The loot is there, I'll agree with you on that. But it sure is hard as hell finding it

I'm a town hall 9 player and struggle to find loot. I spend at least 5 hours on the game daily, usually a few more hours than that, and find it very hard to get matched against someone who has even just 100k gold available. It has improved slightly since the update, as Supercell claimed it would, so I refrained from commenting until the time they claimed it would really improve had passed.

Well, now it has passed, and for the most part, the amount of gold I'm finding is in no way going to get me to 4-5 million to upgrade a defense in the full on weekends I spend just trying to find loot. I started at 1600 trophies and worked my way up to 2400 and still have not found any 'sweet spot', so that whole argument obviously does not play a role in why I am not finding any loot. It's nearly pointless for me to use the gem boosts on my barracks because I am spending 10 or more minutes hitting next before I get matched against someone who has more than 80k of both resources (before this elixir gem boost).

The only thing I am not complaining about in this loot update is the dark elixir. I've found it far easier to acquire dark elixir now. It is very evident that they updated the old loot system because it was based off of town hall 8 being the highest town hall, but they have NOT updated the collector production/level system. It is still outdated, even after they've tweaked the loot system, no matter what you say.

I have a second account that is town hall 8, and it's amazing how much loot is available and how many 'abandoned bases' I am getting matched with on it at any trophy count I try to search under. I am not sure if this is luck or if there is something about town hall 8 that is the 'sweet spot' for getting the most resources- not a 'sweet spot' in farming abilities, because that is obviously luck. The new update's details claim that there should be an increase in loot for higher level players, not town hall 8 players. I suggest you come back to this post as a town hall 9 and let me know if you still agree there is not a problem. I have the advantage of two accounts to compare the differences between the town halls.

I can't answer this myself since I am not a TH9 but most of my clanmates are level100+ TH9's and 10's and when I ask them how the loot is, it isn't as good as before but they still occasionally find good raids.

Seeing from the replays they provide, they are usually abandoned TH10 bases at Gold 1 league. Usually around 300k golds.

Right after the update, everyone was complaining this is the worst update for the TH8's and TH9's, I am not farming as much as before the update but I'm still managing to shed some light in this dry season.

to be frank... i'm TH9 and I find the loot to be even better than before the update...

I'm raiding at least 8+ million a day now along with barrack boost...

Yeah, if I had max troops (fairly new Th9) I would BAM other TH9s at higher trophy levels.

i dont bam uses to much de for my taste im to greedy. Rather get that extra lvl on my heros but using bag or barch i can 2-3 star a fairly upgraded th 9.

No, we don't have to. He just REALLY didn't want people to know his trophy lvl and TH lvl.

Depends, I come in the game and see how the loots are, and if they are good I pump the barracks on full throttle and farm for hours.

Realistically, how much I farm in half an hour? If the loot is good 500k~700k?
But does that really matter how much I farm?

As long as I get some walls done and get all my 5 builders working and I am satisfied.

How many skips it takes? Sometimes just a few, sometimes more than 10 minutes.
When it takes that long I just stop playing and come back later, or test different trophy ranges.

I settle for

• easy 100k+ gold bases
• 150k+ gold inactive bases (filled mines)
• 200k+ gold medium defense bases

Yeah, so I can see what you are trying to get at. I stress one day because I can't find any loots but the next day, or even hours later, loot appears.

If you seriously don't find any loots for days in a row then there may be a problem worth complaining about but I highly doubt that.

Let th9-10 complain I'm a th8 and the loot is better than it was before so calm down th8 ppl are richer than they were pre update i find myself waiting to empty my storages so i can fill then straight away again so i think it is that th8's just want it to be handed on a silver platter and previously it was but if you slot in the right league the loot is huge
