    Give both clans in war the option to choose “ready” during prep day to start war

    24 hour prep day is too long. I don’t think most clans need 24 hours to fill their ccs.

    The only advantage to this is that if you start a search at 9 pm (for example), you can expect the war to start and end at approximately that time in 2 days.

    However, this is not always the case. When my clan beigins war search, finding a match often takes over 3 hours. So we have no control over the time a war ends. When we start a search at 9 pm, we often have wars starting and ending well after midnight.

    To give clans the choice to shorten prep day and avoid hours long match searches, clans should have the option of choosing “ready” for war to take certain amount of time off of the 24 hour prep day. The amount of time could be 2, 4, or 6 hours. If/when both clans choose ready, the wars starts.

    Farming clans could then war every 24 hours (immediate start, no need for CC troops) as the wars are arranged and the loot would be... epic.

    Which in turn would not allow more wars, guarantee that! If Prep Day and / or War Day was decreased by any means, then a cooldown period would be added to enforce "no more than one war every 48 hours". Collusion groups have insured that would be the case. Else they would gladly run multiple wars each and every day.

    Edited my idea to give clans the ability to shorten prep day by 2, 4, or 6 hours. Maybe the option would exist for all three times, maybe two, maybe one.

    That takes care of the criticisms that it wouldn’t work because clans could start wars immediately.

    Your edits still dont do that. Your suggestion is to take time off AFTER you match and you get to choose it? So if you wait to match for anhour and then take 6 hours off and gain 5 hours. Not going to happen.

    I like this idea - some people want to play more than others. Your options now are limited.

    Make more accounts if you want to war more...

    Or implement this cool concept.

    But keep in mind -- if you clicked'ready' and started the war -- you then have to track down 49 random other clashers and get them to all show up much sooner than they expected.

    This would help busy clans full of players who log in all the time and I fully support it.

    It would not hurt anyone. It would help many clans and it would require minimal effort to implement.

    If this is the case -- you should ALSO implement a 'forfeit' button or a 'I'm finished button' so that clans who are DONE attacking early - can do so...


    AKA -- Match found -- start war -- 1 hour later your clan is all done... so you click FINISH war .. and boom the enemy can do their thing till done and the war may be over much shorter on both sides of the fence.

    I'd like it even more if we could forfeit the war - let the enemy keep going for 24 hours - while we start a new search for a better match that we can actually win easily...

    This would in effect lead to a mess on the war log side, extensive server queries and many clans who find themselves fighting a 1 way easy to win war when the other clan throws in the towel.


    I like it... Supercell wont. Guarantee they wont like this.

    --Let a co leader spend GEMS to put this into effect - to speed up prep day or Forfeit a war - it costs.. 50 gems... or whatever...

    Now supercell might like it -- it makes them money... and it makes (some) players happy.

    I believe you are incorrect when you say it wont hurt anyone. Today EVERYONE has to live with a 48 hour window to prep and war. Any deviation from that gives those clans who do it faster an edge in clan growth and personal growth. The Farm clans alone would go batcrap crazy starting wars and finishing them in 30 mins and blow through many wars per day, advancing their growth well beyond anyone else’s capability. Not a fan.

    edit : Just noticed in your footer that you are affiliated with a farm clan. Doesnt your agreement seem somewhat self serving?

    I'm actually a max 12 with 60/60/30 heroes - I fill spaces in a farm war clan sometimes when needed but generally do real wars when I have time (outside of school, work and my teenage life)

    Farm clans do not hurt anyone - the speed in which an individual player progresses does not hurt anyone - a person could pay 12 grand and gem to a max th12 -- and that will not hurt anyone...

    Faster wars for players who want to war More would not hurt anyone...

    Those who have less time to play - or who progress slower - those players who have been town hall 9 for 3 years and still have 10/10 heroes... those people also are not hurting anyone...

    Everyone progresses at a different speed ---- The only real question is:

    What is the max speed that supercell would want to allow people to progress at without using GEMS.

    If players had more wars - more loot - their builders would still only go so fast without gems.

    So - in effect this suggestion could increase revenue for supercell and allow many kids (and people with tons of time on their hands) to progress faster.

    It could also allow those with LESS time on their hands to progress faster - - since you could plan your clan to do a war -- fill castles fast - click READY -- do your attacks and click FINISHED -- be completely done with your 5x or 10x war in a couple hours flat --

    Then move on and do another...

    So this could help anyone - at any stage of gameplay - in any circumstances...

    It just comes down to SERVER load and how fast supercell wants to allow us to rack up war stars.

    Also would make Clan Perk farming something of an issue - supercell may not like this. Clans could race to level 200 in a years time passing up all the other clans with crazy 50x wars.


    I like the idea of faster wars - I like the idea of READY - Forfeit and increasing the speed. I don't know how it could best be implemented to the satisfaction of supercell and highly doubt it will ever come to pass.

    No clue what point you’re trying to make.

    In the simplest example of my idea, let’s say the option existed to shorten prep day by 5 hours if both clans chose to do it. This would shove the problem of war matches taking hours... like I said, our matches take 3+ hours. I start a war at 9 pm and by the time it finds a match it’s after midnight. I then would have the option of clicking to shorten prep day by 5 hours. If the other clan also chooses the option, the prep day is shortened.

    My point is that war and prep day for everyone is 48 hours total. Any deviation from that allows clans to have an opportunity to get more wars over the same period of time and gives them an advantage. I am not keen on anything that does that.
