i was thinking bout this too. npc goblins only attacked anyone here once, which is the start of the game during tutorial. backyard monsters, which some say is what this game copies from, not me, has players and npcs attacking you. itll be nice.

It means Non Player Characters, so the automated attacks. It would mean a whole lot more AI to develop so I can't see this happening.
