Likening the in-game 'economy' to a real one doesn't hold much water, seeing as how none of the gold-purchasable 'assets' earn any kind of return. BUT I think you've got a decent point and it would be cool if you received the gold when people skipped your base.

I know it's nothing like the real world, but money vanishing to a zone of nothingness is never good for any kind of economy. =/

And I feel like this loot system would succeed if there were more loot in the game.

Funny, you say loot is alright, and then comment on using gems. I am unsure what point you are trying to make. As someone who doesn't gem i still find it difficult to find consistant raids.

I think people have just got to used to PVE. ie farming collectors of inactive.

I have always been one who goes for full raids and am seeing very little difference. With the new loot cap the only thing I am doing slightly different is making 1 hour armies and passing on anything under 300k whereas before I would make 30 min armies and hit anything over 150k (did have to pass strong bases with that comp now I never pass up good loot).

If you are TH10 and losing 450k each raid you are doing something serious wrong. I am only TH9 and just took my first big loss (am upgrading CC and didn't realize it was empty and got hog rushed). Also you can’t lose over 400k from storages so you are already showing you are exaggerating the situation.

It makes me laugh that people complain so much about losing huge amounts of loot then in the same paragraph complain there is no loot out there. Hint if you are losing it then someone is finding it.

as a pretty high levelled th10 i should be holding out very well on defense! but no, a guy raids me for 450/450 with all of it being from my storages.... this takes a good 3 or so attacks on average to make back and i can attack once every 30 minutes due to my army composition of the typical barb arch wb giant combo, lets also add in the 10 minute search time to actually find a raidable base...

let us also consider most people have other things to do so log off while an army cooks...

I think it is completely unreasonable that These kind of losses should be incurred. it takes so long to save up a decent amount of money these days and losing that kind of money from attacks purely from storages is just ridiculous. A simple bloody fix would have been higher league bonuses, but no, they have to go and ruin the game mechanics completely.

When are they planning on fixing this broken game?

p.s. has anyone noticed the MASSIVE increase of abandoned bases recently? lots of them i cannot raid as i am th10 and th8 collectors arent worth it, and often collectors are lower level so revenue isnt the best, however im seeing a vastly increased number of empty xbows and infernos...
